lol I can't rant about this enough but it needs to go away. Your players will enjoy CBMM (ConnectionBasedMatchMaking) a lot more. Just listen to the community plz.

Leave it alone. Games are mostly evenly matched now. It sucks the fun out of playing when you are continuously pub stomped. Skill based match making is just smart.
-
Nah just keep it like it is and go to dedicated servers for Destiny 2. I have seen plenty of red bar warriors during the Iron Banner and yes it is annoying but it is not happening in every game. Most games for the most part are running with good connections and they are most importantly COMPETITIVE. Going to CBMM would turn the crucible into a pub stomping ground for elite players, which sounds great for them, but would result in the average player just walking away.

Yeah I agree, sbmm was one of the main reasons I quit the game.

My connections have been better and i refuse to believe this is SBMM , the teammates i get , no i dont play that -blam!-ing bad

lol I saw 7 of these in a row. I do support this.

3 AntwortenHoly shit, what has happened suddenly lol, the forums are flooded with these posts. Btw I am on your side guys, just wondering what has caused so many threads to be made at the same time.

SBMM should be in a ranked play list only. With suitable cosmetic rewards for reaching certain ranks. Have a freelance play list and a full fire team only play list. Or the option to select ranked match from the custom game menu.

Trump likes sbmm!!

SBMM has been the best thing to ever come to shooters

While connection based mm would be good, I'd probly get my ass kicked every game if there was no skill factored into mm. I'm really sub par pvper player and it's actually nice to get matched with like skilled players. Cuz I don't know about everyone else but winning is fun.... lol

3 AntwortenSo wait what's the problem with sbmm? I'm actually curious.
-
Ah yeah, another circle jerk party!
-
I agree, because no one ever complains about connection quality in Trials do they.

1 AntwortenIm guessing SBMM stands for skill-based matchmaking?

1 AntwortenHey BUNGiE, are there Technical limitations that could be resolved over time eg: a) move away from reliance on P2P connections b) rewrite D2’s game-engine & utilise improved hardware to improve the Global PVP experience? c) how about employing a dedicated Team what can effectively examine in-Game Reports & hand out warnings + bans? Be transparent & effect positive change! d) set up a Regional / World Tier allowing Players with consistent connection speeds to play each other? On the Player side What if Gamers buy something like the Netduma Router with Geo-filter to reduce the main cause of lag (distance) by guaranteeing a host close to your home. https://netduma.com/features/geo-filter/ Players improve their own connections by upgrading to faster ISPs. Note; my GXP pains incl every time I hit up PVP, all device get turned off + to pulL thE phone connection

You can never fix lag or connection. There is no perfect solution for this...
