Best strategy ever: jumping off the map.
This idea came to me while in a state intense panic as a sunbreaker activated his super 5 ft in front of me. I had nowhere to go as my heels where on the edge of a cliff in Thieves Den. Out of pure fear and panic I tossed myself off the edge just to avoid being evicerated. He stood on the edge, unsatisfied as he watched me fall. While awaiting respawn I realized that nobody got points for my misadventure and I am now considering this a new tactic.
The only thing I wonder is if this would count against my K/D? I also thought about jumping off a cliff so my teammate could get the revive, which means 50 free points... Interesting way to win a close skirmish match?

People already know this. People have been do this for a long time to run the clock in Skirmish.

If they damage you at all, they'll get credit for the kill

1 AntwortenIt counts against k/d, but I relish depriving super kill points. I once popped a bubble over heavy. I took one step outside and saw a voidwalker in the air. I backed up and rocket launched inside my bubble just as the animation started. I've never been so satisfied with a suicide as that one.
