So there I am, running around in Clash doing my usual scrubby thing with my Cryptic Dragon and my Ether Nova, when some douchebag t-bags me after a kill.
I don't get it. What could possibly motivate someone to T-bag a mediocre player that is doing nothing special?
EDIT: After reading the responses below, it seems there are some people who simply enjoy irritating others.
Those people have my heartfelt sympathies. I hope your life improves for the better.
Keep on keeping on....
EDIT 2:
Lots of insightful responses.
It's interesting to see the varied opinions.
Personally, I think T-Bagging is a taunt for scrubs.
The really good players will salute, or slide through your ghost, or use a "no, no, no", etc....
They are taunting you, but they are doing it with style. I always smile and give a little nod at their superior skill.
I just see T-Bagging as low class.....
EDIT 3:
So many responses.
Been thinking more about it.
What really bothered me is that it wasn't a haha T-Bag, or a slow you got rekked T-Bag.
It was a frantic mash the button as fast as he could thing like it was personal or something.
I never camp or try to get cheap kills. I just run around and shoot at whatever is available. It was as though I had done something to offend this guy and he raged at me. It was disturbing.

My old clan leader used to kick people from the clan for t-bagging. He wanted a mature clan, not a clan full of children, and man-children. I personally couldn't care less about people bagging. It is what it is.

1 AntwortenWas tea bagged by someone earlier today, it was wonderful. Oh and we were kicking their butts so idk what he was so excited about.

He's challenging you.

Because balls.

2 AntwortenIf getting "virtually" tea bagged in a game winds you up that much you feel the need to post then you need to really go re-evaluate your life!

Why wouldnt they

1 AntwortenI used to not tbag...ever. But then I tried it. And it felt good. Now I tbag everything, even at the cost of my guardian's life. I kill a dreg in patrol- bagged I kill a strike boss- bagged I shotgun some unsuspecting guardian in the back in the crucible while they aren't looking - bagged A teammate of mine dies - bagged I die - bag myself

4 AntwortenSummary: If you're gonna make fun of me. Do it with class.
-
It's hilarious watching teammates bag other people they killed and then get annihilated two seconds afterwards.
-
It's literally just someone pressing circle over your ghost dude

I love putting my 2 cents in on this topic! T-bagging is part of any game that has competitive MP. People do it out of rage, taunting, or for fun. I do it all the time. It's fun and it throws people off. If you t-bag the right person, it may make them snap and come after you the rest of the match throwing the opposing teams vibe off. Am I a scrub for doing it? IDGAF :) For me it makes the game enjoyable. I don't care if I'm winning or losing. If I'm up to it and you die on patrol, I might tbag you then to. It's nothing against you, I just like doing it. If someone gets their feelings hurt over a video game then maybe they should take a break and get to know themselves better instead of crying about it. Now I can't wait to get home and tbag the shit out people on Control. #ballstoface24/7

T bagging is fun, it's part of online gaming, do you need a "safe room" so your little feeling don't get hurt? The only thing disrespectful around here is the amount of soft people that play FPS. 'Jeez' live a little, have some fun, t bag someone you just killed out of their super. It's kinda fun.
-
Why not bring your Mum & Dad along & they can experience the joy of the bag too! 😂😂😂
-
Just laugh it off and bag them back.
-
Why not? Loosen up and laugh it off. It's just a video game.
-
7 AntwortenT-bags come from D-Bags. Direct correlation. Momma didn't hold them enough or daddy was a rolling a stone. They are horrible team mates and on more than one occasion I found even my own teammate doing it and as a team we made him rage quit. #nodbagsortbagshere

1 AntwortenHonestly despise those people who juggernaut shotgun then bag "Wow, you are so skilled at crucible for using the most op setup in destiny at the moment and rubbing it in my face, wow, you are truely amazing"

2 AntwortenPeople don't like to admit it but if you find yourself being Tbagged you probably made some kid bitter about killing them or someone on your team upset them. People claim they do it for a laugh but that's B.S., it's usually the same people who desperately type out insults after a game, win or loss it's usually some deluded superiority complex that makes them believe they are better than everyone else and their little ego gets hurt so they lash out Don't take it personal, just laugh it off and wave at them after every kill, watch their rage increase lol

I'll tea bag you on patrols
-
I bag only when bagged

2 AntwortenIn general, I see far fewer t-baggers these days. Compared to cheats, t-baggers are a brush-away without a second though type nuisance. For the most part. Every now and then though, one will show up that begs to be punished, messaged, or both. When they come along ALWAYS dish. If someone bags after killing you when you're at the top of the scoreboard for your team during the game or on a kill streak, you know they're getting the medals earned flashing on their screen. I don't mind that much if that's how they celebrate accomplishment. With the prevalence of sniping at an all time low, I got lazy, ran into a lane and got sniped at medium range. The guy ran up & bagged me. I sought him out......and although unplanned & with some luck involved, went for The Cycle against him & him alone - a Titan, including shutting down his Hammer. I was surprised he didn't quit the game. Looking back on the match, it seemed the guy was most likely a newer player with less developed skill (rushing for attempted shoulder charge/shotgun engagement, staying in mostly one area of the map) - - but all the better reason to punish & easier to do so. I sent him a message after the game - "thanks for helping pad my stats." Look at the indiscriminate t-baggers as an opportunity. Again, from what I've seen indiscriminate t-bagging is falling out of practice, but be glad for it when it happens because it creates an enjoyable game within the game objective.

Bearbeitet von HienaSiorcanna: 11/5/2016 6:43:44 AMI only bag if they did something stupid. Though people who bag then send hate mail are the ones I despise. I can take a bag. Though if it's a senseless bag then it's meaningless. Bag me for doing something dumb. It derived from Halo. It was meant to use for bad players but if we have players just bagging to bag then it's stupid. Don't bag me because you only make me focus more and I'll come after you. I'll make my way through a crowd just to kill and bag you. I guess you can say it's also a challenge. You bag game on. But don't be a baby and bag at the end of a game. Bag me before so I can come after you. 👌

In this instance i think the bagger won since it made you salty enough to post about it on the forums.
