Went 4-0 against this team a few week ago before both my team mates got booted and the opposing team stole our victory.
I wasn't going to post the video but seens as everyone is calling out the cheaters I though I might as well get these guys noticed... ;) Skip the video to 5 minutes if you just want to see my team mates lag out.
Also check them out on gaurdian.gg they have a shit ton of victorys with only 3-4 wins lol. Get this lot banned asap!
Don't care of I get banned from the forums either. It wont be my first stint in the dog house, but if this gets some cheaters banned then it's worth it.
EDIT: Look at the 16 days ago section and around the 8th game down you see our game. Every other game in that area is the same as mine. At least 2 people from the opposing team got booted.
Also were trending. Keep it up.
Ninja Edit: I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.
Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so.
For those who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form.
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

8 Antworten"Don't care of I get banned from the forums either. It wont be my first stint in the dog house, but if this gets some cheaters banned then it's worth it" This is one of the major F-ing problems with Bungie. It treats people who are trying to clean up the game like the enemy.... Bungie, do you want the help of players post videos of cheaters or do you want the continuing bad press* that Destiny's PvP has become nothing more than DDoS cheating piece of crap...? * www.idigitaltimes.com/destiny-rise-iron-players-losing-patience-ddos-attacks-trials-osiris-566066 gamerant.com/destiny-trials-of-osiris-ddos-problem/ thetechportal.com/2016/11/01/destiny-trials-of-osiris-ddos-issue/ www.itechpost.com/articles/48563/20161031/destiny-rise-of-iron-update-why-you-should-buy-bad-juju-pulse-rifle.htm www.polygon.com/2016/10/26/13394068/destiny-trials-of-osiris-ruined-cheaters-ddos-spam www.parentherald.com/articles/79961/20161102/destiny-festival-of-the-lost-trials-of-osiris-bungie.htm www.polygon.com/2016/10/21/13361014/psn-xbox-live-down-ddos-attack-dyn www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/10/29/bungie-reiterates-stance-on-destiny-cheaters-oct16/ www.gamespot.com/articles/widespread-ddos-attack-has-psn-and-the-internet-li/1100-6444696/

1 AntwortenI honestly love and support that players aren't scared to post this on the forums even with the "rules" bungie has against it. It shows that the problem isn't getting fixed and we won't stop until it is. People like you aren't afraid of being banned from the forums for speaking the truth. I can respect that. Whatever they are doing at the Bungie studio is beyond me, especially with major hitches in their game right now affecting player experience. Ive said it before and I'll say it again: This "ban hammer" is nothing but a myth. That long paragraph Cozmo put in the update about these attacks might as well been toilet paper.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von jhowle9475: 11/3/2016 11:56:28 AMLets take a moment and examine what DDoS is and how it is so unlikely. You do realize that in order for DOS to work, your exact IP address must be known to the attacker. Plus all ISP's issue modems that all operate on the same IP address based on the branch of the network they are one; literally in the thousands of modems sharing a similar IP address. This is what is know as Public IP. Your modem, when you connect to it issues a private IP that's the same as virtually millions of other devices; 192.168.1.1. Investigating further, it takes literally thousands upon thousands of infected computers to pull off an attack. Its not something you can just do Willy nilly to a random person you encounter for 10 minutes in the game world. More on this below: "DDoS is short for Distributed Denial of Service. DDoS is a type of DOS attack where multiple compromised systems, which are often infected with a Trojan, are used to target a single system causing a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. Victims of a DDoS attack consist of both the end targeted system and all systems maliciously used and controlled by the hacker in the distributed attack. How DDoS Attacks Work According to eSecurityPlanet.com, in a DDoS attack, the incoming traffic flooding the victim originates from many different sources – potentially hundreds of thousands or more. This effectively makes it impossible to stop the attack simply by blocking a single IP address; plus, it is very difficult to distinguish legitimate user traffic from attack traffic when spread across so many points of origin. The Difference Between DoS and DDos Attacks A Denial of Service (DoS) attack is different from a DDoS attack. The DoS attack typically uses one computer and one Internet connection to flood a targeted system or resource. The DDoS attack uses multiple computers and Internet connections to flood the targeted resource. DDoS attacks are often global attacks, distributed via botnets. Types of DDoS Attacks There are many types of DDoS attacks. Common attacks include the following: Traffic attacks: Traffic flooding attacks send a huge volume of TCP, UDP and ICPM packets to the target. Legitimate requests get lost and these attacks may be accompanied by malware exploitation.Bandwidth attacks: This DDos attack overloads the target with massive amounts of junk data. This results in a loss of network bandwidth and equipment resources and can lead to a complete denial of service.Application attacks: Application-layer data messages can deplete resources in the application layer, leaving the target's system services unavailable." Lets stop this talk about DDoS attacks. Its nonsense. Clearly something else is happening and it is most likely network collision which means your console lost sync with the network. Possibly because of poor connection or lag switch.

Dude have you reported them
-
1 Antwortencoincidence that only your team mates got booted and you were the one making the vid? smells like bull to me.
-
Bungo needs to pull their heads out of their arses and stop this bullshit. Keep up the good work and keep sending emails and what not to bungo until they do something about it
-
2 AntwortenThey're not going to ban the cheaters. They will moderate and ban you though. They won't even look at those cheaters, they'll continue doing what they've been doing. Check up on them a week later, then a week after that. You'll see them still playing 3v1 and winning.
-
7 AntwortenSo, i havent checked their profiles (no real interest in so), and im not gonna defend them nor you, but all i wanna say is: If they were gonna ddos, why wait until down 4-0? Yknow? Like, if 1 of you is kicked, or 2, but you still manage to win the round, its too late for them to win even with cheat methods. Like, youd think if this is the case, theyd have started at 2-0 instead of 4-0. That's all i wanted to say

Use the reporting system on this site. I did and the players I suspected of cheating were, and have been banned.
-
1 AntwortenNinja justice would be banning the rank cheaters bungie. I understand you can't afford to loose players but damnit man fix your dam game already
-
You know you can send in a report over bungie.net and include the game/match results from your own history to help highlight the problem, right? And that bungie can and does ban or restrict players regularly (check the help section of the forums every Monday/Tuesday, you will see 40 or so fresh posts whining about having been hit with the hammer) on a more frequent basis than most players think, right?
-
2 AntwortenDefinitely cheating.... c'mon Bungie.....
-
6 AntwortenMy doser got banned yesterday First card on Friday on the flawless match I didn't even get to hit the ground....
-
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von SparksTheUnicorn: 11/2/2016 7:37:59 PM-blam!- those guys they need to get the ban hammer, the only worthy punishment for cheaters
-
2 AntwortenI could be wrong but doesn't DDOS crash your entire Internet?
-
Bump Nice Banhammer Bungo
-
2 AntwortenUse a shotgun more kid...
-
This is bs. This has happened to me also... one time my whole router shut down
-
1 AntwortenThere history sure is fishy, not as obvious as some but definitely not a normal pattern.
-
10 AntwortenDid your friends get disconnected from their internet? Like their modem goes offline for a few minutes. If not then it's not ddoss.
-
1 AntwortenYup, that's a DoS. One can only hope that Bungo learns from their HELLACIOUS mistake of P2P connections and actually introduces dedicated servers in D2.
-
5 AntwortenJust curious but did your buddies get kicked from the party chat as well? Did their internet go down or were they returned to orbit?
