YOU got to admit, the sheer fact of a giant battle in Destiny is pretty amazing. Who doesn't want to see Lord Salad bar wielding his giant battle axe into hoards of fallen or Cayde pulling out the Ace of Spades saying IT'S HIGH NOON. BUNGIE, PLEASE make this a thing. Something you can do is a 2 week event with two waves of enemies for every reset. Something for the April update or maybe sooner. I want to go out in the cosmo drone or plaguelands to fight giant hordes of enemies, board ships, maybe even activate anti- air support like those in the campaign. I want you to replicate what you did with your previous franchise. Let us emerse ourselves with this amazing game and lore. Please like if you love the idea.

Yes please. They don't even need to be large scale pvp battles. Invasion battles can even happen in patrol areas, I don't care, just something larger scale than what we have. There is a war going on, right? Or is it just amall skirmishes...

2 AntwortenI was expecting something like Halo when I got Destiny. Epic storyline. Large battle sequences with Guardians and frames and soldiers and other notable characters. Cutscenes that make you feel shit on the inside. Attachment to characters, but then they die. Instead we got "go from point A to point B". All the while a voice talks to you. That's it.

Just get battlefield 1, it's way better than Destiny.

7 AntwortenWhat do you mean? You need to specify here! Do you want to be a part of battles between giants? (Could we attack the giants?) Giant guardians? Or large scale battles with hundreds of enemies and allies all together on one battlefield?

Giant engrams lol

Hello! destinys frame rate here, I don't think I could handle that. 😉
-
4 AntwortenActivison would never allow that, unfortunately. Bunch of corporate butt-plugs is all they are... ruined CoD, shut down the cool stuff in Destiny (like the ships flying down and dropping ppl off when they spawn), fired infinity ward when they politely asked where their check bonuses were and when they were coming (Infinity Ward got their cash eventually tho.) etc. Activision should burn! Bungie should be teaming with Dice or EA or something.

7 AntwortenThere are a few moments in RoI where it almost feels like you're in a war. The Siege Engine, Perfected Archon Events, and even that mission where you need to shut down the AA cannons (though this one is mostly due to the set piece). I'm sure most of use want more chaotic battles, but we see what happens to the frame rate, even on current gen, when things get too hectic. The only thing I figure they can squeeze in before D2 is a 'Horde Mode', where we need to defend the wall. I'm actually surprised this isn't a PVE event on the scale of IB and Trials. We have the wall; we have the lore, but we don't have the actual scenario in-game. A brutal 25-30 wave event with a boss every fifth wave, which would reward players with event-specific weapons, armor, shaders, etc. Hell, give it a PVE version of a Passage Card to boot - that could let players get a chest from one of Cayde's stashes.

1 AntwortenPeople like to talk about epic battles like the six fronts and twilight gap, why can't we get into battles like that ourselves?
-
Yes. The Gjallarhorn's last mission was only a taste of what it could be

I would like a 12 v 12 or more on a big map. Would be awesome.

Always wanted a ahamkara boss battle

-
I've been suggesting battles like they do in that old PS3 game Defiance for awhile now. They have big 30 person battles against an onslaught of high dps baddies in open world.
-
3 AntwortenI think a big team battle should be in the Crucible. Like a 30 on 30
-
Once they get dedicated servers for pvp maybe we could have a few larger crucible battles or a 12 player hoard mode where we defend walls or settlement
-
3 AntwortenHow about a crucible battle on the scale of a battlefield 1 match. THAT would be awesome.
-
So basically you want firefight from halo but on a bigger scale?
-
1 AntwortenYeah and I ducking space battles, but wither that won't ever happen or we'll just get 2 maps and it's shit. Best to leave a good idea to never exist.
especially with modern day Bungie
Bearbeitet von KayOsS882: 10/31/2016 2:14:00 PMWould have been awesome if we had the opportunity to use our ships when Oryx was battling the queen. Imagine, hundred of guardian ships attacking the dreadnaught like in star wars. Pew pew pew....

Nah I'm good.

So think of alterac Valley in world of warcraft meets destiny

This would be awesome! I have few possible improvements/additions of my own. More maps would need to be made to fit these kind of battle, less cramped CQ combat, and larger open spaces. Games should be longer and stretch over a variety of landscapes. A new scoring system would need to be made. Kills would give less and objectives would give larger amounts. They could add multiple random and dynamic objectives such as, capture zone X for 5 minutes or destroy the enemies walker tank. These objectives would give advantages and points/scores such as, heavy ammo or 5000 points. They could even have multiple objective at a time. Example Objectives: Get 20 kills near zone X. Destroy the en enemy's walker tank. Zone X will be available for 5 minutes. Allies in the zone will grant 50 points every 5 seconds. Same for enemies. Open area X. This area will grant a team access to an area overlooking the battlefield, provides a huge advantage. Opened by bringing the charge (spark) to the generator (rift), located behind enemy lines. Doesn't provide points, but grants a strategic advantage. Capture all three new zones at the same time. Will be available for 5 minutes. Grants walker tank. Kill fallen major captain in 2 minutes. Unleashes a fallen incursion on the enemy.

This was an idea I had a couple months ago: The Ring of Saturn Battle Is a PVE spaceships event where teams of 6 players battle against cabal and hive ships. Your team goes around Saturn rings reaching checkpoints where you will encounter big ships(bosses) you need to defeat with your team. Before reaching the checkpoints you will need to defeat waves of ships. Checkpoints could be battles between cabal and hives and you just raid into the battles. Dreadnaught Race Championship (DRC) It's a PVP crucible event where players race each other in Saturn Maps - Dreadnaught - Saturn Rings Loot - Ships - Engines for better boost and speed - Ship weapons (Primary, Heavy) - Ammo

2 AntwortenGet a map created that's as long as Valhalla, but widen it a bit, however. You could do two different game types, Siege and a PvP element that pits a large amount of guardians against each other. Siege would kinda work like Spartan Ops on a massive scale. Every week it'd be a new mission, (maybe a new map) and a member of the Vanguard to actually assist. You'd get talk of some lore, smart remarks from Cayde and being able to witness a true Vanguard in battle. Rewards would include tons of rep, Strike specific loot based on the enemy you fight that week. (Ex; Cabal = Treads) And maybe some extra new legendaries. I doubt it'd be a thing for Destiny 1, but D2 would be cool if it had a feature like that. 😉
