Hunters, are described as the fastest class in game, but we don't have anything that can compare with titan skating and dune marchers. I'm not saying titan skating and dune marchers need to be REMOVED, but I think hunters could use a speed boost.
So people are arguing there's a difference between agility and speed. Well, that doesn't make much of a difference in terms of titans being able to speed through everything while a hunter lags behind, titans shouldn't be this much faster than hunters.

Even then, too, it's still not just triple tapping jump.
Also, hunters have better control and Bones of Eao, which (paired with Mida MultiTool) apparently is supposed to be able to compete with Titan Skating
7 AntwortenI recommend adding this in an edit: Agility and speed are the same in Destiny. Agility = Speed & Jump height. Titans have both of those. Don't believe me? Inspect your subclass in-game.

44 Antwortentitans should not be faster than a hunter. they are supposed to be a heavy tanking class, so idk where that logic went...

I like how OP changed his original post halfway through this

4 AntwortenIn the grimoire cards hunters aren't described as a guys who are always running around, they were described more as campers likely. Why do camper class need an agility? However, there are few times mentioned that Titans always go in the first lines and get to their targets as fast as possible. In that case, mobility is the most important things for them. In the other games Tank-classes are classes that are able to survive for a long time. Usually, because of a big amount of HP\Armor\any-type-of-protection. In Destiny there isn't such things as HP like we see in other games. Yes, Titans have more armor, but availability to endure 1 additional hit by shanks isn't helping at all. So, what is other way to survive? Be mobile.

It's a lot easier to kill a Titan running a straight line than a Hunter who can blink or change direction.

1 AntwortenPeople are still into this? When Titans and Warlocks wants something to challenge the Hunters, you ( a lot) are telling us we are the crybabies. Lol no you are not going to be faster, aren't you already hard to kill?
-
Bones of eao and better control. You're welcome

Bearbeitet von CodySnowmew: 10/31/2016 1:38:19 AMAgility in this game doesn't make you sprint faster, you only walk faster, jump higher etc.

Funny cuz all the ppl here that disagree with your post are all titans so by doing that shit they get everywhere first & kill everything while every1 else is behind trying to catch up , so I really dgaf who's mad or not , titans shouldn't be able to do that period or at least have a cool dwn on it

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von BK-GHOST: 10/31/2016 12:33:23 AMTo all those saying agility speed and jump height are unrelated...look at your subclass(any1) The description of agility is..."increases your movement speed and maximum jump height" Just a psa...i dont really care i adjusted

3 AntwortenThey're not supposed to be fastest, they can go invisible, they have the best jumps
-
2 AntwortenIt's not an all the time thing, but spamming melee while in arc blade allows you to close any gap immediately.
-
1 AntwortenYa titans are only really fast in a straight line though lol
-
What about warlocks they aren't even in your convo

6 AntwortenSpeed and agility are not the same thing
-
Yea I find it hilarious that you can out run a blade dancer with any character or subclass. That should not happen...
-
26 AntwortenAgility is not speed. Hunters have the most vertical agility and best maneuver ability in the game. They can evade with shadestep and the jumping allows them to avoid many different rushdowns. Titan skating is fast, real fast, but they have to travel in a straight line and cannot evade as well as a hunter can Titan = horizontal mobility Hunter = vertical Warlock = :)

Bearbeitet von Ratti: 10/31/2016 1:12:28 AMHunters are fine.

13 Antwortenbeing fast and being agile are two completely different things. Hunters are the most agile class.
-
I think that agility needs to actually mean something. It really only messes with walking speed and moderately with jump height. Armor and recovery are king and hunters are the only class where they can't have high armor and recovery. Unless they max agility actually change sprint soeed, reload soeed, etc. Then they are at a disadvantage in some ways
-
4 AntwortenI agree however I do think the hunters win in all out evasion. Their jumps are more controlled as well as the options of invisibility and dodging. I think the stat should be tweaked in destiny 2 to reflect those attributes more than just jump height and speed
-
Idk man the hit detection when shooting hunters using shadestep and blade dance is fucked already. I don't need them moving faster while doing it.
