Hunters, are described as the fastest class in game, but we don't have anything that can compare with titan skating and dune marchers. I'm not saying titan skating and dune marchers need to be REMOVED, but I think hunters could use a speed boost.
So people are arguing there's a difference between agility and speed. Well, that doesn't make much of a difference in terms of titans being able to speed through everything while a hunter lags behind, titans shouldn't be this much faster than hunters.

Show me where we are described as the fastest class. No class is actually given a title

Invisibility, speed. Anything else you'd like?

9 AntwortenI think each class (esp if it's the same ideas for D2.)should be extra different stat wise. Like, each stat does different things per class. Ex 1. Agility on hunter can speed up jump frames as well as melee attack speed and gunplay speed (basically like the tinyest yet noticeable boost to reloads, handling, etc.) Ex 2. Recovery on WARLOCKS should speed up grenade and melee charge rates, as well as increase the effecs of class abilities like better vampirism and damage tick speed for vortex grenade and nova bomb vortex ability. Ex 3. Titan armor stats should give a slightly more noticeable ability to die less. Maybe not necessarily more damage resistance, but more hp? Maybe even a passive that acts like the pokemon ability sturdy, leaving 1 hp on a deadly hit. To not make that op, secondary damage remains the same, but you'd have 1 hp after, say, 4 shots by mida, or 3 shots by any low rof scout. Just that little edge. I dunno, the fact that i play my titan and warlock the same, and warlock and hunter the same basically says they aren't different enough to me. Make MORE differences in destiny 2 plz Bungie.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von Enochua: 10/31/2016 2:17:38 AMand what are your thoughts on warlock's speed and or agility. titans not only have good jumps for jumping puzzles but have better combat effective jumps that are aided by shoulder charging. but also because of shoulder charge have an ability that doesn't require the use of a ability charge. so not only do titans have the most armor but are the fastest and the most agile with an ability that is so effective with the type of rushing game that destiny pvp is that when you point it out titans get all bent out of shape. But yet no one is mentioning that they should be nerfed just pointing it out. smh

-
9 Antwortenwhy shouldn't they because you say so no 1 ever said hunters the fastest class agility maybe quick draw and what not evade faster sure but fastest no no no

3 AntwortenI don't understand why bungie keeps giving Titans more exotics that increase their speed, turn radius, and maneuverability.

Nice job to change you're title cause you were proven wrong

Hunters can have high agility so moving fast when in combat with verticality too

36 AntwortenBearbeitet von JackOfSpades835: 10/31/2016 2:10:35 AMStill singing this broken ass song? As an absolute bias Striker Titan main I say we need the skate to close the gaps quick because we have T-Rex arms. Hunters and Warlocks have ranged melee and don't need to get as close to use it. Although Hunters can go invisible to close the gap or even get behind their opponent. This, in my biased opinion is balanced. Please feel free to cry me a river :)

21 AntwortenYeah we can Titan skate but we can't really change direction, we can actually die if we Titan skate into a wall
-
20 AntwortenI see what ur saying but while titan players think theyre all high and mighty when it comes to speed, they lack in mobility which is being able to turn on a dime and they lack verticle movement while skating... Which is pretty damn important if you want to outplay every gunfight you encounter(pvp perspective) titan skating has NOTHING on a nightstalker with shadestep and bones of eao w/better control when it comes to mobility
-
I'm ok with hunter being less fast because it's like titans are a bull cause they can charge really fast but can't change. Then hunters can move around super agile like and are still quick but can move around more. Warlocks however are really slow but are more fluid and still have more control than titans but less control than hunters.
-
Titans are kind of like flying bricks. Once they get going they are fast. The thing is if they did not have that nobody would play them. The hunter can jump out of the way and it's far easier to control from a movement perspective
-
1 AntwortenSniffle sniffle... such problems that you have. How do you cope?
-
3 AntwortenMIDA, Bones of Eao, and better control. You can jump into walls with enough speed, you'll actually take damage from it. You can outrun Titan skates with it. I don't know about Locks because I haven't played in a few months but I can't imagine they're harder to escape from than a Titan skate
-
Titans are the fastest even without staking or any exotics. Hunter are the second fastest without any weapons or armor.
-
pull up your pants, your jealousy is showing ;-)
-
Hunters should be the fastest, then locks, then titans. The speed at which a titan can move forward, left, right, and up is dumb. It makes no sense at all. The jumps on the titans and warlocks should be flipped, and the hunters should be faster. Agility it the height at which you can jump, how fast you jump moves you, and how quickly you move while weapon ready.

8 AntwortenI think the jumps in Destiny need to be reworked. I mean I love skating on my titan and even the burst glide on my warlock but they're not meant to be in the game. You get horizontal speed and vertical height with no drawbacks. Hunters basically need an exotic to get anywhere close to the horizontal speed but do have better control vertically. I'd suggest reworking the jumps to cater to horizontal speed vs vertical height and control. Example: high horizontal speed = less vertical height/control and vice versa. Thoughts?

They should put Battle Runner on Radiant Dance Machines. Since Dunemarches have the same effect but with 2 additional effects on top...
-
lets just put it this way bungie -blam!-ed up to give each class a role. thats why we have a speedy "tank" which has like 3-5 more hp than your regular hunter build. or a "tanky" wizard. lets end it here and let them do a WAY better job at giving them a certain role in destiny 2. after all, bungie told us all during one of the 2012 vidocs that at the core each class still performs the same and that there is no tank or dd. its just that we people assumed titans are tanky, hunters fast dds and warlocks the magic aoe / healer (yes, in the very beginning we thought sunsinger was a healer subclass).
-
1 AntwortenTitans are the fastest Warlocks are the tankiest Bungie logic

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von CHILIDAWG343: 10/31/2016 2:07:04 AMHave you any clue how hard it is to Titan Skate correctly? It's a lot more than just triple-tapping jump - you need a lot of forward momentum to get yourself moving fast (best achieved by sparrows or shoulder charging, but both require almost frame-perfect timing to succeed in), and you can only skate successfully in an area with a flat-surface floor and goes in a straight line for a good while. Even then, too, it's still not just triple tapping jump.
Also, hunters have better control and Bones of Eao, which (paired with Mida MultiTool) apparently is supposed to be able to compete with Titan Skating
