So I just had a balance idea, and I need feedback sooo here we go
Restore the full power of sunsinger, all of it, put double shadestep and twighlight garrison back, remove the blink recovery and draw time nerf, unerf skating and shoulder charge, unerf all arc blade and gunslinger nerfs, make graviton forfeit grant ONE shade step when playing bladedancer or gunslinger. Give titans everything except for the insane amounts if armor they had before the nerf to sunbreaker, keep stormcaller how it is, make void Walker better to compete and then we have a less watered down version of why we have today, this should increase skill gap.
Ok weapons
Restore sniper damage and remove the latest flinch nerf, buuuut ouble flinch done with scout and pulse rifles, handcannons and auto rifles weren't meant to be sniper counters. Restore the 1kys archetypes damage back, they thought that with bringing back the highest impact archetype sniper would be obsolete because the 1kys type could do everything it could but also shoot faster, howevee the advantage of the highest impact snipers is that sometimes you can body shot kills, and they can clean up a target licked by the bugs on Venus.
Shotguns - Increase the range because abilities and primaries will be more powerful, you'll see :)
Fusion rifles - this might be controversial but if no I will change this, make them hitscan with dropoff!!! This fixes consistency
Sidearms- highest impact types like teacup tempest should 3 shot to the head, but MORE RANGE
Handcannons - I have actually found a pattern if firing handcannons that aliviates bloom, once you get used to it it's fine really, but fix ghost bullets when you aren't spamming them please!!!
Auto rifles- this is a special mechanic just for auto rifles that will probably make them much more viable because right now they kill slower and have less range then pulses, when you are constantly hitting an opponent they will slow down more so the longer you are shotting them, this for one makes auto rifles viable against shotguns but can also help prevent an escape from the new juky SOB hunters :') ahhh see it's coming together
Pulse rifles - well these are better than other primaries right now, soo if the other primaries get buffed they would be fine
Scouts- Increase stability, scouts are honestly really good right now at range, I feel they would need a buff but I'm not sure how, so leave replies and if it's a good idea I might just edit it in :)
That's all for now, I want nerfs to stop, currently we are playing a watered down version of when ttk first came out and I miss it. Please don't hate I tried to keep things unbiased but I am a sniping hunter main with 4 times as many handcannons kills than anything else soooooo

3 AntwortenIm okay with everything but the sniper suggestion. I think you can either restore the damage or remove the flinch not both. To me a sniper should be able to one shot anyone who doesn't see them. But if i can see the sniper and they are in range to absorb hits the scope should move when i shoot at them. At the point when two people are fighting each other it becomes unfair that a seen sniper can engage while being engaged with no penalty. I realize that snipers are supposed to be long range and that in a perfect world I'd take cover. But when there is no cover and a sniper is hardscoping a choke point from a long distance it puts everyone not rocking a scout or a sniper at a serious disadvantage. The sniper at long range with no flinch and damage restored is the ultimate no risk, high reward, weapon. Best case scenario you get a one hit kill. Worst case scenario (barring counter snipe or scout) you hide and wait for another sucker or shot while facing no danger. Which is why snipers where everybody's go to in ttk

7 AntwortenI cringed at the "shadestep" on blade dancer and gunslinger. Snipers are perfect where they are now. Shotguns are fine. Pulses are fine. Scouts yes need a small stability buff if anything. Handcannons need a small stability buff. Auto Rifles? God knows what to do with those. Sidearms are fine. Fusions are fine. All subclasses are fine where they are. IF ANYTHING, trip mines stick again, return Viking funeral, increase hammer tracking. Shadestep and twilight are fine where they are.
