Hard freeze of system while playing trials.
Game sound and controls shut down. Couldn't even access the PlayStation home screen. I've heard reports of this before. I had to unplug my ps4 to fix it. WTF. I can deal with lag, but bricking my console is another issue entirely. Fix it Bungie. FFS.

I had that same exact issue yesterday. After the screen stopped freezing the audio was still nonexistent, and my controller couldn't do anything. Hitting the home button did nothing, plugging the controller into the ps4 with a USB cord did nothing, turning on my second controller did nothing and even after being kicked to orbit due to inactivity while trying to button smash the whole time, I still could not use my controller and had to hard reset my ps4. I also don't know what the hell is up with the network but lately even with my ps4 telling me I have 45mb download and 15mb upload with a wired connection and on wifi, I've been redbarring and kicked from games with no warning. ONLY IN DESTINY THOUGH! I've had no issues in a big ass game on battlefield one so I don't know what the hell the issue is

1 AntwortenLet me guess, you were in between the bones/C special and bridge, right in front of the bottom door into middle? That's the infamous cauldron glitch. Happens randomly in the same spot. Happened to Luminosity in the last tournament lol

Happens by alpha green ammo near the diving board. Game freezes for 2 seconds.

3 AntwortenIve had it happen on cauldron a few times. Always in the same spot on the c-spawn pillar while facing the door to go into B room or the bridge. If im lucky ill get a frame rate drop, but if not it freezes. I really just try to avoid that spot on the map at all costs. Its been happening since the dark below came out, so i doubt they will ever figure out why it happens, if it is even on bungies end, could be a ps4 console problem for all we know.

Yes! It's only on one side of the map at spawn area for me too, the side where you can run straight in to the green bones room on the right. If I turn left at spawn and jump on top of the cylinder thing it's like the game goes to 2 frames a second then after about a full second it goes back to normal, but on one occasion I was left with no game volume and it said my controller was disconnected, couldn't reconnect my controller and I also could turn my PS off with the power button, so strange I thought my PS was broke lol
