seems like he's selling bad juju today only because bungie wants people to buy them packages to try to get the ornaments

1 AntwortenScam? Not sure I agree with that. Business move sure. And yes the weapon has been around for ages, HOWEVER, there are tons of people still just getting into Destiny who probably don't have BJ yet, and, I don't know about anyone else but I NEVER see this weapon dropping from engrams, like not ever. Probably just something with my RNG (which is absolutely God awful in every facet of this game). The sentiment of being somewhat disgruntled with the current state of Eververse and Exotic Ornaments does strike a cord with me though, this system is an obvious cash grab and is kind of ridiculous if you ask me. I'm not buying Silver until something get's improved.

nothing you need just move along wait till next Friday for the same disappointment. just buy heavy and 3oC

36 AntwortenFormer diehard non-believer here... The blinders are off, and the drug that is this game is wearing off... This Festival of the Cost has been enlightening, and I will not be sticking up for Bungie any longer... I've been an avid supporter of this game, both financially and verbally, but after dealing with the rng treasures this festival, and giving Activision my last contribution, just to not end up with the content I wanted, and seeing Xûr selling the Bad JuJu today, after them swearing he is rng... I'm done...

wait so can someone confirm if what I'm reading is true? From what I can grasp from this post, Bungie (a business) is trying to make money? Are my eyes deceiving me?
-
4 AntwortenThere's a small percentage of people who don't have bad juju yet. The majority of the player base has gotten it already, so it's as simple as buying it from the Kiosk. No cash grab whatsoever.
-
14 AntwortenHonestly who doesn't have Bad Juju at this point? Bungie, like every other game developer/business, is in this to make money. Get over it. Stop trying to create issues out of stupid shit and play the game, or don't, just stop whining already.
-
1 AntwortenWell it just seems like good business. People are buying the festival packages and getting the ornaments weather they want them or not. it's good of bungie to give people who have gotten the ornaments a chance to have the gun if they didn't already have it.
-
1 AntwortenThat was the very first thing that popped in my mind as soon as I saw what Xur was selling! Definitely not coincidence, definitely not random! Bungie's way of dangling a carrot in front of the community to entice them into opening their wallets to 'maybe' get the new ornaments to apply to that weapon. I love this game but this was obviously a shameless cash grab.

2 AntwortenCoincidences isn't something natural. It is something that was created by man. That's probably why you think everything is a conspiracy.
-
Perhaps, or it's just there to buy with strange coins for people who haven't gotten it yet. Buying cosmetics is up to the player, and do not hender the gameplay.
-
That's what I would do.
-
Lmao that was my first thought too and they claim they can't alter his inventory
-
1 AntwortenIts Business kid, look it up, understand it, and git gud
-
6 AntwortenI'm just waiting for him to sell the Arctic survivalist ornament.
-
3 AntwortenNot sure I buy your conspiracy but a couple of things lend credence to it. The way galley was handled miraculously being sold at or near the end of year one and the Trespasser being sold after the total shotgun shitshow of supremacy Iron Banner in a futile attempt to get players to use something other than shotguns. These 2 seem to add weight to your Juju theory
-
1 AntwortenHow long has skull been around after year 1?
-
Sounds legit
-
How is that a scam? Plus I'm sure the majority of the player base has bad juju already.
-
They missed an opportunity to have Our sell ornaments and masks for silver dust here. Sure, it'd be nice to buy them with strange coins but that's not going to happen. It'd be nice to buy the one that you missed out on so you can bypass the RNG.
-
Thats not a scam.
-
i believe it
-
Why are people so butt hurt about this? What makes it so important? So what if this is the case? Most people already have Bad Juju. I also doubt that his inventory is randomised but I genuinely don't care. Maybe it was back in year 1 with all the time he sold Sunbreakers.
-
4 Antwortenyeah so liek the .003% of the player base that doesnt already have it? BJ was the easist exotic to get in Y1, so most of us just kiosked it in Y2
-
Dumb. People that wanted the ornament for it would've bought the packages anyway, realizing they have a limited time to get that and can get a bad juju whenever they could.
-
2 AntwortenIt's a business model, but doesn't mean you can't have fun and not be salty. Try the other perspective. What if a brand new kid got the badjuju ornament but didn't have bad juju?
-
Pretty sure Bungie has come out numerous times and said they have no say in what Xur sells. It's based on RNG. Which is why he can go months without selling a specific item.
