I believe that the sun should be an explorable planet in Destiny 2. It may hold some amazing lore, and I'm surprised it hasnt been brought up yet as a suggestion.
What if we have a warmind on the sun? Or even better Golden Age tech? Maybe the environment will be like a beach, since the sun is a warm planet in our solar system, and we already have a desert (Mars) so how would it make sense to add another desert? What races do you think will inhabit the sun? Let me know in the comments!
By the way check out my FanFic series on the mysterious House of Scar! Scar Master Post

11 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ratti: 10/28/2016 11:43:12 AMWoah, sick idea bro. The Sun is literally one of my top three planets of all time. Followed by Phobos and the Earth's Moon. Plus, the Sun could have, like, these lava pools where you could swim and there could, like, also be icy areas where you could go skiing. I would literally be crying with joy if we got the Sun as a planet. OMG Bungie, do this idea now.
This is bait, right?
2 AntwortenOnly at night though

Well if you consider the fact the sun is similar in structure to an oversoul it likely is a place your already in it to some extent. Also because of this a light wave version of a hardware function like a warmind would likely be part of how the sun works.

Bearbeitet von Batman bazooka: 10/28/2016 3:28:11 PMHonestly I think that could be cool. I mean it's a sci-fi game nothing about it is realistic so why not. there could be some stupid reason you could go there like a protective layer over your armor or some nonsense.

4 AntwortenIt's a heck of an idea, lol. There was a gigantic thread like this going around 1+ years ago. Many trolls rolled. That said, I'm reminded of a small scene from an Iain Banks novel (don't recall which exactly) where a battle fleet lays a trap by hiding in the sun. Top notch science fiction, from a master.

The sun is a star, not a planet. Do you even school bro?

Wait. Wouldn't solar grenades and hammers become useless then? We need an ice based sub-class! The Titan super could be a giant tube of sunscreen!

Lmao the sun isn't a planet kid. If anything ever got within 100 yards of the sun, they would be incinerated by the extreme heat

1 AntwortenEpic b8 m8. Smooth as fuсk
-
3 AntwortenOkay. 1) The sun is not a planet. 2) The sun has no sensible lore. 3) Warminds and golden age tech would burn instantly, just as we would before we even get to it. 4) A beach needs water, and needs to actually be able to exist. 5) No one would inhabit the sun, because they would die if they tried to. R8ing - 8/8, m8; pretty gr8
