Pretty much hits the nail on the head, at least for me.
Add to that list cheaters, the usual lag, and streamers doing carries all weekend & it becomes clear Trials needs some serious work.
It's been said Bungie pays attention, so like this if you agree.

13 AntwortenIn all honesty: Trials needs SBMM, all other modes should be CBMM. Not the other way around.

42 AntwortenBearbeitet von Juice: 10/27/2016 7:11:50 PMWhy does this guy's opinion matter? I played and beat this guy 2 weeks ago on Twilight Gap. He is complaining about people playing slow. All he would do is hard scope lanes and play slow. He would get a body shot and throw an axiom bolt. He is talking about gun skill and winning with that but he uses a last word. My team just rushed him. We played fast. We ignored revives. Used primaries to stagger him off his hard scope. We did ALL the things he is basically saying in this video that Trials should be. We beat him. On his stream he started to talk trash that we should sell the game and that we are horrible players. I called him out on it and sent him a message. All I got was this childish reply voice message. So...this guy is going to cry and whine about things when he loses, he will never give anyone else their due because he is an elitist crybaby who thinks he is entitled to winning because he has a stream and his parents have some money. Please stop giving credence to what he says.

1 AntwortenWho appointed this douche to speak for the community. Yes it may be his opinion. But now your forcing his opinion on the community because he sucks without his radar. Any true pvp player knows no radar is true skill. On top of that no revives allows for the player to really make his play count. And not wait for a rez snipe . Imo this is how trials should have been.

It's people like him why Trials is trash.

Posts video about people hardscoping lanes and not pushing...while hardscoping lanes and not pushing. Derp.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von PandaPapa146: 10/28/2016 2:00:28 AMOne possible solution: 1. Tiered system: Green Zone - all players up to one card / per account, i.e., 9 wins. Once achieved, move up to... Amber Zone - all players up to 5 cards, i.e., 5 wins. Once achieved, move up to... Red Zone - for the truly hardcore to play till their hearts' content! 2. Rewards / Emblems should reflect the level achieved...that means, good loot, great loot, fantastic loot - according to level accomplished. 3. Names indelibly inscribed upon the 'Wall of Fame' for the weekly winning (Red Zone) team in Tower. 4. 9 Wins 'Over Time', i.e., however long it takes to complete the card for a total of 9 wins cumulatively over any period of time within a weekly reset phase - for Casual Players to achieve Lighthouse + good rewards. 5. Stompers / Hardcore - the Stompers (Amber Zone) and Hardcore (Red Zone) players get to win better loot according to their results, using the the current 9:0 system once they've passed through the Green Zone (Casual). Conclusion: This way, the entire player base is playing on a level playing field, i.e., Green Zone; and, lets those who haven't the time or inclination to Stomp or Get Stomped to have some FUN....something that is entirely missing from the Trials for quite some time. Anyone who wants to get further, i.e., Amber- or Red-Zone for better loot/emblems, can crack-on as desired. Everyone wins! PS: This would resolve the problem of 'pro' carries, yet, still allow for that activity to proceed as normal, for those that desire it.

6 AntwortenWas this video a trick? His gameplay was the EXACT type of gameplay he was ranting about the entire 8 minutes. I'm not good at Trials but I am good at recognizing a hypocrite.

59 AntwortenFirst 30 seconds and I'm done listening. Nobody pushes or engages?! Lmao this dude obviously doesn't remember 6 months ago when trials was nothing but *spawn in* *hard scope* *get a pick* *revive* *rez snipe* *challenge snipe* *repeat* And unbalanced?!? Dude you can use a sniper, shotgun, trespasser, scout rifle, auto rifle, hand cannon, pulse rifle and ALL OF THEM ARE VIABLE WEAPONS. Wtffff is he talking about its more balanced than ever and more *pushy* than it's been in years.

No. He summed up while playing Trials like Skirmish doesn't work well. His ideas for Trials this time around are terrible, as he wants to treat it like it isn't elimination, but as if it's Skirmish. Elimination is always going to be the slowest type of game mode. Its just hoe that type of gamemode pans out in any type of shooter. Getting the revives when it's convenient isn't going to get you anywhere, as Trials is supposed to be won by who plays as a team the best, not just blindly trying to kill everything the fastest via "gun skill." On the flip side of his argument on revives: The player who got the rez outplayed your team and got his teammate up while they were at a disadvantage. Why shouldn't he be rewarded for a few seconds? The true invincibility frames only last until the player touches his feet down and gains control of the character. The second he gains control of the character, he can be blown away by a super, shotgun, fusion, or teamshot down before he can even react.

I don't get why anyone would want to cheat, it's not like you earned anything. You didn't get wins from skill only wins from not having scruples. What does that say about ones character? Not much.

Some of his videos are funny and I find him entertaining. He does good work and seems very smart. I watched that video and my take on it is he seems bored with trials. The couple suggestions he makes are decent and hopefully something positive comes of it.

Trials is in a good place. Decision making can overtake gunskill. There's no way of twisting that into a bad thing. If you can aim good but play stupid, you should lose. Getting rid of revive shields or immunity frames isn't a bad idea. As long as the player is given control of movement and weapons IMMEDIATELY upon revive. The revived player should never be vulnerable when they can't engage. Either way, there's really nothing wrong with how it is right now. The only time revive shields are any issue is to someone using TLW/sniper or TLW/sidearm. A real primary doesn't have to reload after every kill, and can kill a full health guardian, plus a revived guardian. And shotguns make revives laughable to the point of encouraging revives to boost kills/super energy.

4 AntwortenFor me flawless is pure rng. Either you get matched against people you can beat or you dont. There will always be a team thats better than you and its up to matchmaking if you find them or not.
-
It feels the same tbh

6 AntwortenI've been saying it needs work for a while to my friends. It might as well be renamed grenades of Osiris. It's so far from gunplay and so much more focused on abilities and grenades idk why they give us guns. Now I'm exaggerating a bit, but seriously, grenades are rediculous anymore. Amd supers, I think you should get one per match and you start with it and you need to use some strategy as when to use it. I think it would be cool. And less camping for supers
-
He gave his opinion that's it. That's all it is opinion based. Nothing special to see
-
I've never heard of the guy as I never watch streamers but I find it hard to disagree with anything he says. The idea that one team gets a clearly advantageous spawn for the entirety of a match is bizarre to say the least.
-
1 AntwortenIt needs rotating spawns. Everything else is fine. He is just bored.
