83 AntwortenHow to fix Trials; Give players TWO routes to get to the Lighthouse - 1st Option: 9 Straight Wins (Flawless) 2nd Option: 50 Match Wins (Not Consecutive) This will make it so average players can still make it to the lighthouse but have to work LONGER to achieve it. Fudge it, make it 100 Match Wins (Not Consecutive), at least there will be an option for average players to take and reach the light house. It's a simple fix that would make many players in the community happy. No one has creativity anymore!!!

9 AntwortenIn other online games paying other players to do things like a carry to the light house or playing on your account is called RMT (real money trading). RMTing will get you permanently banned from every other MMO and online RPG game out there. But for some stupid reason RMTing is considered ok in Destiny and I find that stupid. If you cant earn your loot with your own level of skills than you don't deserve that loot. If you pay money to another player to get carried or for them to play on your account you and that player should be permanently banned in my opinion just like in other online games. Thankfully this game doesn't have trading or an auction House or you bet your ass we would have bots taking over the game.

I've played trials maybe twice with some randoms. Sure it's difficult. But I think with some effort it's doable if you really want to go flawless. I've never been flawless but that's my own fault. I've made no attempt to really play the mode learn the maps or put together a decent team. So why would I complain about it? If I really really wanted to go to the lighthouse I wouldn't say it's too hard or pay for a carry, I'd make the effort to gather a decent team and practice. I wouldn't expect it to be a cakewalk so why are people so upset about it.

2 AntwortenJust do what I do! Excepts the fact that you'll never make it

Been reading these posts forever and the one thing that keeps playing in my head is "how does it affect me?" How someone else spends their money on what they deem important is of zero concern to me. Would the people paying for lighthouse trips be as good as others if they played as much or practiced more or ran with a consistent team? Don't know....what I do know is that it's their money and they can do with it what they want.
-
I agreed average players don't get to go. It's the only reason it's heavily discussed. That right there creates emotion and drives progress. The theory isn't mine, someone along time ago create this thing called a "high score". That high score thing turned average games into chances at accomplishment of the self fulfilling kind.

Just because content is in the game doesn't mean everyone should get to see it if they don't want to work to complete said content. In older mmo's the casuals complained they couldn't see story elements of raids but they didn't want to get good enough to beat it to see it.

Got ddosed 5 mins ago from 7-0....best of the best my ass

I will not pay to get to the light house, I don't pay for my free porn and I get better satisfaction in the free porn because there is no boobies at the tower.

4 AntwortenI don't give two flying -blam!-s about somebody paying to get to the light house. Do what you won't, I won't think your a scrub. My problem is all these people thinking they're some bad ass motha-blam!-ers but scared to go against other " badass motha-blam!-ers" because they are afraid they won't go to light house.

1 AntwortenSo even the people running flawless with zero kills are somehow above average? I'm curious about that scenario...not the ones that actually get there with kills. I see...
Git Gud has another definition
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von XMalakhX: 10/24/2016 9:44:53 PMBungie loves the fact people pay others for carries. It's like if Blizzard started supporting the gold farmers in World of WorldCraft. Bungie loves scumbags because they are scumbags.
-
Good, it should be that way. It isn't hard to get to the lighthouse anyway! I've been flawless and played less than 3 hours of trials since it came out.

10 AntwortenI feel as though the problem with Trials is not so much that it's meant to require skill, it's that the way it stands right now your match ups are completely random and range from competitive to hyper unbalanced. Going into Trials is like going to a middle school pop warner football game, rolling a die and saying "Hey kids, it's a 6 that means you'll be playing against the Denver Broncos today; remember if you lose it's all your fault and you should have gotten good." Some people tend to forget that competitive doesn't mean difficult, it means that teams have equal footing; for this to happen there would need to be skill based brackets, and right now there aren't. You wouldn't consider it to be competitive if you pit a feather weight boxer against the reigning heavy weight would you? So why exactly do you think it's competitive to put high skill players against significantly lower skilled players. Trials needs a ranking system, one that works to match players with other players of similar rank just like every other competitive game mode in every other multiplayer game... The fact that it doesn't and Bungie not only consistently allows for but seems to be encouraging the exploitation of Trials to essentially extort money from players and monopolize end game content is truly a depressing show of developer ineptitude.
-
Make a trials bounty for 50 consecutive wins, that would be great <3
-
Man the special snowflake generation is out in force in this thread. Just because you bought the game does not entitle you to having the skill to accomplish everything in the game. FYI there arent that many people doing carries. The -blam!-ing idiotic idea that a large portion of players are being carried to the lighthouse is just ridiculous. there are probably half a million people that play trials every weekend and you idiots think that of the 80-100k that make it to the lighthouse every weekend are being carried by a streamer? lol

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von BigTexB007: 10/24/2016 4:54:22 PMBungie, you and the above average players can HAVE Trials. I'm not concerned about going to the lighthouse AT ALL. Ya'll have fun in your little club. The effort's not worth it for me. And I don't judge those who feel otherwise. The Elitism is a bit annoying. The skill gap between learning the skills it takes to start from zero and work your way to the light house is HUGE. A case can be made that it's too big. But -blam!- it, it's there, it ain't changing. Can't have participation trophies for everything. The goal is there for everyone to put in the work to get it done. The work sure as shit ain't worth it for me. But it's there. Either move on or get learning how to PVP, use the meta loadouts, and practice practice practice play play play with a team to learn how to get coordinated.

6 AntwortenI'd like to see a system where once a Guardian has gone flawless, that Guardian is ineligible for Trials for the rest of the week. But, by going flawless, the Guardian is now eligible for the weekly Champions Tier, where flawless battle flawless for bragging rights and uniquely badass shaders, emblems, ornaments and ships.
-
Average players do go though. Average teams do not.
-
6 AntwortenGood players go to the lighthouse? Since when were good players ones who pay streamers, red bar, and ddos their way through? Before you open your mouth, you need to check your facts.
-
1 AntwortenAnd if Trials is for the "elite" then shouldn't there be a prerequisite to participating in the first place? They should have made a Crucible mission where you have to win a certain amount of Elimination matches in order to get in.
-
Meh, I'm not too worried about it. I tried year one, I got ddosed my router shut completely down. So I said "nope not -blam!-in with some dick that's gonna break my router".
-
This is another good example of something that a Bungie employee simply doesn't need to say.
-
Had to do the 5 cards... one match they all jumped off four time and tried to beat us.... one player on our team was really not that good.......... we one...... but not going to the lighthouse lol because its never about skill!
-
O trials, how my first match is always against a sweaty flawless team
