Since there is not much skill to trials and PVP, all you need is a red bar/META of weapons/Shade step......Bungie you should bring back real skill based PVP.
For regular Crucible, when you start to load into the map the first section pops up and you choose a guardian. This is for salty cry babies that still need the crutch of shade step and a shield while running as a Titan. We can't nerf all the people that need crutches. Then the second section of choices pops up and you choose from a short selection of weapons that all have NO perks. You load in and fight.
For Regular Trails, it will kind of act the same way except your team has to choose between being an entire "Void", "Solar", or "Arc" team. And when you drop in, it is completely random each round as to who is which guardian but it will be one of each. So each team will have a Titan, Warlock, and a Hunter but you will not have to use actual.....wait for it.....SKILL to get kills. Oh ya, and TEAM work.
For Elite Trials. Same concept as regular expect no supers and no weapon will come with a scope on it. All iron sites and again NO perks at all on the weapons. If you want to not have so much salt then have a "supers" crate that spawns like Heavy. If you get it then you get a super that round.
Have the Regular light house drop 395 gear and the Elite Light house drop 400.
I have never been to the light house, don't care to go. I do my bounties most weeks and then go have fun doing something else. Please lick my salt below if need be.

Not improved just because you prefer your concept...

Okay, so first of all this is definitely written by a Call of Duty player, and that's fine. Both games can be similar in some ways, and definitely appeals to an audience which has investment into twitch shooters like COD as well as games with a longer TTK like Halo. However, the main issue I see with your ideas is that it takes away the core element of Destiny which is that it's a Loot-Based Shooter and that the developer allowed you to choose your guardian to be yours. By taking away the ability to use the guns you have worked hard for, or learned to use the game loses its core principle which makes it unique, it loses its loot. By taking away supers your taking away the personality aspect of choosing different classes of guardians, even COD has recently addressed this in BO3 by the addition of Specialist abilities, which make your specialist more personal to you (the ability should compliment your playstyle). It definitely seems your ideas stem from the age of COD where you'd load in and choose from a set class, which was fine but it's a completely different environment to what Destiny is. Destiny is about creating a Guardian who essentially is you, Bungie want that connection and your idea essentially turns your personalised character into "Random Soldier #324", which isn't what people who bought this game want. Your idea is your idea, and hey in your mind it would be fantastic and if you think it then I'm sure there are others who agree, and clearly in your mind there isn't another environment where this exists so there's clearly a gap in the market so go out there and develop. Learn to create a game, and make it and if your idea is good people will invest, that's how you measure if your idea is good in the conventional sense. Personally, I think trials is difficult and people have their "crutch" abilities and guns and it's annoying. Titans run at me with a shield, but I can take away their radar, slow their movement and reload speed with my ranged melee, or I can essentially snipe people with my Thunderstrike. It's fluid, back and forth. Opponents abilities only seem overpowered when they seem to win engagements. But I bet when you get that sick Thunderstrike from ridiculous ranges you're absolutely fine with it, you need to be objective before you complain. I doubt you'll have read all that ^ it's quite a long post but I saw in the comments you're getting a little bit of flak and to address those giving this guy hate: At least the OP came up with an idea which he thinks will improve Trials which I think many people see as a flawed game mode.

3 AntwortenLittle snowflake, If theirs "no skill" in pvp then why are your stats so bad? Playing people with no skill should be easily countered by one such as yourself with all of your skill.
sorry not sorry. You suck
3 AntwortenComplains about hunters and titans forgets Warlocks are just a straight crutch class.

3 AntwortenWhen an average(at best) player says there is little skill to PVP...... Irony.
