In Destiny 2, it would be cool if Bungie introduced some of the orders that are hidden away in the lore or flavor texts. So if a Titan wanted to join the Firebreak Order or Chain Order, they could do that, get some special emote, emblem, or maybe even an exotic quest. If a Warlock wanted to join the Thanatonauts or the Heart of the Praxic Fire they could do the same. Maybe even these Orders could provide some exclusive missions. If you decide to switch Orders you'd have to go through some kind of initiation.

2 AntwortenFor those of you wondering, Hunters have one order only: Frabjous - because cloaks. Everything else is just a failed attempt above their concentration and cooperation level towards a common goal.

1 AntwortenI would love to see their presence in game, but I don't want to have even more factions. It's hard enough trying to balance a hatred of skolas and FWC in one Titan.

I agree. I actually wish the orders were the 'factions' instead of our current vanilla future war cult, et al...

8 AntwortenThis would be amazing. Dark Brotherhood Spellsword Warlock in year 2? Please? :P Also, as I typed this, I thought of a nice idea for a new subclass. Something that uses the mentality of guardians to their advantage or disadvantage. Titans could have war cries that boost ally stats or intimidate enemies. Warlock's could confuse enemies or temporarily disable attacks and Hunters could use some kind of illusion to provide extra precision damage (Marked for Death) in a sort of assassin type class. Maybe even create duplicates of themselves for various reasons. Probably way more you could do with it all but these are just some ideas.

3 AntwortenI want to walk the path of Jaren Ward. Relive the moment between him and dredgen yor. I think it'd be cool

34 AntwortenHunters would get excluded because hunters don't actually have those. They roll solo.

So... professions?

1 AntwortenHunters have dead zone and six coyotes

9 AntwortenI could see it as being that each Class gets two orders, one more defensive, the other more offensive. So... Titans- Firebreak Order: Offensively minded, with boosts to things like explosive damage/radius and melee damage Order of the Chain: Defensive minded, with bonuses in revive speeds and supporting allies Warlocks- Praxic Order: Highly-focused on offense, with bonuses to grenade cooldown and damage Thanatonauts: Defensively minded, with bonuses both on revival and when reviving Hunters- Six Coyotes: Offensive mobility, meant to stay in motion, with boosts to accuracy and gun damage Takanome Rangers: Defensive type, meant to find a good vantage point and snipe. Boosts to range and stealth.

4 AntwortenThe Firebreak Order are the Sunbreakers right?

This would be awesome. There are very few Warlock heads in the social spaces now that I think about it.
-
It's just the praxic fire

3 AntwortenThat'd be cool. Each class gets 2 or 3 Orders to choose from (how a player chooses or gets accepted can vary) however if a player doesn't want to choose an Order they can simply opt for working with Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult or the Hidden. The Hidden option would be for a player who wants to be in a faction but doesn't care for any of the original 3. The downside is you'd probably have to work with Eris. It'd be a good way to introduce more lore about the Orders for each class and possibly add more ways to start missions/quests.

My hunter is joining the Shadowjacks. Lots of wetwork to go around. My titan veteran with the First Pillars.

4 AntwortenOne of the things on my wish list is guardian outposts in patrol areas guarded by frames that have various vendors and such. Like you walk up to a Hunter sitting on a crate sharpening a knife and he gives you bounties/weapons/gear/quests that assists him with whatever he's out there for. Apply your idea to that and it makes it even better. Imagine playing as a Bladedancer and you get an anonymous message to show up at some spot at some certain time of day and when you do, an entrance to a hidden area decloaks right in front of you and you get inducted into the Takanome Rangers.

1 AntwortenI'd also like to see more orders and factions come up. Like the Shadowsmiths. We know nothing about them, but based on the cloak flavor text they sound like Cayde's own secret group of Hunters, like Ikora's Hidden.
-
2 AntwortenOr non class specific orders - like the "Pilgrim Guard"
-
Great idea - I hope they do this!
-
As long as I keep my characters, why not?
-
Make it like the Faction exclusive exotics whereas you can only due them if ur a part if it,
-
I like the idea by a lot

Bearbeitet von Urban Shade: 10/20/2016 10:27:42 PMIt would be cool if they implemented them as factions to rank up. Sorta like fwc, dead orbit, and new monarchy.

2 AntwortenHunters have the Lonely Lads, Bashful Buds, and Alcoholics Anonymous
