i think bungie should bring back VoG and Crota, but give it nightfall modifiers and reward parts of an elemental core for each major encounter that you complete. And can later combine at a vendor and then attune to whatever element you want by using that elemental subclass.(kind of like the exotic sword quest but with less kills.)

They are already talking about bringing it back. But they said if they did it would be later. My thoughts are around April.

1 AntwortenNightfall-level's a bit extreme, but boosting the old raids to Year 3 light and whatnot would be epic!

Just a thought. Why not have all raid boss encounters back to back (including skolas) PoE style with modifiers, scaling in light (atheon 360 light, Crota 370.... etc) Removing burns on old raid weapons in exchange for a set perk or something like the new raid weapons, and give old raid armor ornaments or chroma

2 AntwortenAs long as they keep the Crota jumping off the platform to chase you around only to smash you with his sword glitch intact

I've seen this topic a couple dozen times already. I think Bungie already knows that the fans want old raids back. Now it's just a matter of time.

1 AntwortenCan somebody please explain me: why Bungie doesn't want to bring back the old raids again? What's the problem? I really don't understand. I don't see any problem, I just see an opportunity to keep their fans playing their game.

2 AntwortenNo, no and no. What we need is new and fresh content, not recycled content.
-
They should just make it so the enemies are all the same light for every raid, and they all drop the same loot. Seriously it isn't that complicated. Also if they added challenge modes for VoG and CE

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Trollefix: 10/18/2016 3:57:16 PMBungie has spent so much time and money on making this game but as soon as a new dlc drops all the old stuff is just...forsaken. Just like that. Why not use the games full potential. Its all there, right at our fingertips. A few minor adjustments and it can all be relevant again. Imagine the content you could play and players wouldnt grow tired 1 month into a new dlc. Options is the key to keep people interested. - Bump up all old raids to the new light lvl. I dont raid but im sure those who do would love the option of having more than 1 raid to run. This could be done x amount of months after a dlc because i understand if they want u to focus on the new one they built to begin with. - Include all strikes in the strike list and make all the Bosses ultras = less drop outs at spawn zone - Make the Queens wrath a faction. The more the merrier. Im not a game developer but it feels like these things wouldnt be to difficult to acheive. Its already in the game. Sort of. Any one else got something they would like to add?

1 AntwortenThis will be included in the last update before D2, Bungie likes giving us gamer crack and this would tip the scales, I'd definitely be down for a 400 light vex mythoclast.
-
3 AntwortenI would never play another game again if we could do all 4 raids on hard & normal and on all three characters.
-
1 AntwortenTake a shot for every thread like this you see. Take two if there's a "totally new and unique way" to bring up gear and elemental primaries.
-
The main reason I've wanted the old raids brought up to par is after each new raid drop, pretty much EVERYBODY looks identical due to getting the new raid gear. Sure, infusing helped some, but would be nice to have the old gear be viable again. The weapons were great, and some say take all the burns from primaries but that would completely destroy the Vex, never saw a kinetic fusion rifle before lol. But only having one raid to run that is a challenge is the main problem. Upping the old raids gives you more to do since the content is limited right now. If they dropped 2 or 3 raids with each expansion it would solve that but I don't see that happening.
-
I would rather have a new raid, we've ran both them a bunch of times
-
I think a good idea would be to do this throughout the year to give people something to do until Destiny 2 comes out. ROI was the last expansion before destiny 2, which is a whole year away. The live team could do it, and rerelease one raid every few months until destiny 2. Or they can just leave it as old irrelevant content...why take full advantage of the content already developed for this game when we can run the same thing over and over every week until Destiny 2 drops?
-
Or do that but make the reward something cosmetic, I just want old raids back
VoG days were the shit
6 AntwortenIn terms of aesthetics, VoG warlock gear > other warlock raid gear.
why can't transmog be a thing?
CE hunter gear.. Titans, well, good luck.
There is, or rather was, a second unused set of VOG armor in the armory.. Just sayin
In terms of functionality, VoG weapons' intrinsic perk (Oracle disruptor) also procs on the mines in PoE's "destroy mines" phase. CE weapons' intrinsic perk (Hive Disruptor) would have an effect in King's Fail (not a typo) as you face (on average) more hive than taken. Tbh, I'd like additional end game pve content. If that means bringing up y1 raids, fine. Go ahead, strip the elements off the y3 versions of the primaries. Won't bother me any.

I'd rather they spend time working on new stuff instead of putting time into old stuff
-
Weren't there two or three raids taken away?
