Raid ready? (Raid completed)
I'm a 364 light hunter. Ready to raid? I know I'm late to the party but want to get outbreak prime. Also if my fire team has already done the quest, can they still do the puzzles with me?
Edit: meant light in terms of survivability and damage output. Also would rather get outbreak prime and raid in one go to be the most efficient.
Edit 2: I did the raid with my clan and we finished it in under an hour. Didnt even die to enemy hands. Thanks for the replies again! I got the outbreak prime quest as well.
Thanks for the replies guys. Just was wondering since I don't have the most time to raid so wanted to be sure it's not torture if I keep dying

5 AntwortenBetter get Outbreak Prime done today. Apparently they're patching it - it drops at 390, tomorrow's patch will make it drop at 350. I'm all set to get mine tonight...

If you can find a team well above you, it'll be easy for you. I've pulled two 335's through the raid, and a 340. We are all in the 385 range and can cover for a lower player very easily if they just stay alive.

I can only play for up to 2 hours at a time (my parent's rules) so would completing Wot' be possible in that time slot? I have a group who does do raids so I would be the only inexperienced one. I do know what to do though so that can help the run be smooth.

1 AntwortenYou can do it at your current light level with a good team. Idiots who say 370+ are the same tryhard losers who said Oryx couldn't be done on hard unless you were 320+ (I beat hard mode my first time at 311). This raid is NO WHERE near as difficult as Oryx. Once you know the mechanics, you're good. When you see them post, laugh at them and keep it moving.

One factor that determines success is your teammates. If they are a similar level and have not much experience, then the raid probably will fail. If you have teammates with good coordination and communication, you can become overconfident, and then you will learn the hard way when you try with another group next time. The final two-phase fight with the boss is very challenging. It's why there are many LFG posts with fireteam leaders searching for new teammates at this step. The recommended light level for Phase 2 is 380. I advise you to wait at least another week and level up. Reset day will bring new opportunities to increase your light level at a faster rate. Spend the time now collecting exotic engrams and then think about running the raid when you are at least 370.

1 AntwortenYou can easily do it at 364. The highest in our day 1 group was only 362 and we managed to beat it.

1 AntwortenI'm having more trouble getting people I know to play it at the same time. I don't want to have to use lfg or recruitment forums again. I've watched how to guides and I'm over 380 light. I might have to brave them lfg sites to get it done.

I beat it at 363-365. Somewhere in between those numbers I beat it

I raided once with a 343 and again with a 339 and it wasn't a problem. Normal mode is fun as heck. Can't wait for hard.

2 AntwortenI finished my first raid at 368 light level. I ran my first raid at 355. Only reason we stopped is because everyone was tired at 4am. You can probably do it.

1 AntwortenI went through and got the first four monitors. Got to the end and realized something. I just wasted time trying to get something that would be taken away or nerfed or even better. Never seen in Destiny 2. So I left the raid and haven't returned since.

Congrats! I was in your position (still am). Had some friends kind enough to run the raid with me and the people we found on lfg were chill about my being so low light. We didn't kill aksis but everything up until that point was fun :)

Congrats on your completion! Most of the raid is pretty simple if you know what to do. Aksis phase II can be very challenging at first, but once you get it down it becomes easier and easier. I struggled for the first week with a very good group. Once it clicked with everyone, it was one and done the next week.

Once you get a good grip with the raid it is super easy... my friends and I did 4 man the whole raid and one of em was 361 only wipe 3x at phase 2 aksis
