I have both and Dogma has finally dethroned the old King.
Triple Double is just too good, you can pump high impact crits into bosses for days. I was running strikes last night and while fighting Malok there were times when I was standing out in the open DPS-ing for so long that it was more likely I would have to duck into cover to survive rather than reload.
You see the DPS comparison videos on YouTube between the Dogma and the Outbreak Prime and it's actually quite impressive that a legendary scout with no special damage-over-time effects can keep up with an exotic primary that creates SIVA swarms.
It looks 100x better than Hung Jury too. Black and red with SIVA stuff all over it just looks amazing. As great as Hung Jury was the paint job was an eyesore to say the least.
Firefly is cool and all but I'd gladly sacrifice it for Triple Double any day. I don't miss it one bit.
TL;DR: Chaos Dogma is the new best legendary PvE weapon in the game. It's even pretty decent in PvP too.

If shank burn was still a perk Id bet that people would use a weapon with it just for Aksis phase 2.
-
3 AntwortenIt's not good enough for the raid tho.... At the boss fight you need 2 shots for 1 shank. I need 1 shot for one shank.. That increases my survivability with allot! You have to experience it before you believe it.. But yeah it's pretty good perk. Just don't overhyped it cause it's not that good.

1 AntwortenChaos Dogma < Genesis Chain.
-
4 AntwortenIts not a PvP gun, which makes the stability almost a non issue. That's because adds move in very predictable ways so its quite easy to hit a majority of precision shots with dogma. And the triple double makes up for the slower reload time because you won't be reloading as often. Its my main pve gun at the moment for everything really.
-
Why is everyone complaining about it's kick? Lowest rof scout, you don't really need great stability for that architype.

Bearbeitet von Swiftlock: 10/17/2016 6:48:41 AMNah. It sacrifices crowd control capabilities and a lot of stability in exchange for more consistent firepower against bosses/majors. It's a great weapon, but I wouldn't say it "dethrones" the previous god roll scouts. There are times where having the ability to get rid of annoying add clusters with firefly explosions will be more useful than an extra round in the mag. They both have their uses, and I wouldn't say one is explicitly better than the other.

Bearbeitet von Aramintai: 10/17/2016 6:32:39 AMI don't like the stability and how slow it is. Hung Jury is better in that regard. I like to use Genesis Chain in the raid with Hung Jury on shanks.

Bearbeitet von Samantha: 10/17/2016 6:18:15 AMChaos Dogma is nice for DPS, but you've already got snipers and Sleepers and Gjallies for that. Dogma doesn't shine in add control, which makes it a bit of a stinker to use in PvE. Also, I know stability isn't a huge issue given its low fire rate, but both the recoil and recoil direction are horrendous and there's no good remedy for either. Doesn't exactly aid your precision when your reticle is bouncing all over the place. I have a Last Extremity with the OG Hung Jury roll. (Except I use Hand-Laid Stock instead of Extended Mag) Beast in PvE. I got two Dogmas to drop from the raid last night, but I'm probably going to infuse the one I have remaining (already infused one) once the novelty has worn thin.

No. HoJ, Badger, Cocytus, Colovances > Chaos Dogma
-
4 AntwortenCocytus SR4 > any

1 AntwortenI have a Not Like The Others that is really good for PVE. Decent stability, good impact, good mag size, explosive rounds, and triple tap.
-
2 AntwortenIt's better on bosses but Hung Jury is better on everything else, Cryptic Dragon is better then Hung Jury anyway
-
1 AntwortenI will not use a scout under any circumstance, so to me they are both useless. :P
-
the sight is a little off to me. I have to put the dot above the target for a crit to register...took a while to get used to.
-
I've been using the chaos dogma in all pve since I got it. So for me it also dethroned the OG vendor hung jury.
-
Dethroned my old vendor hung jury too!
-
hung jury still wins for basic adds since the stabilty is just so sweet
-
Basically the black hammer of primaries... Boss killer
-
I was saying the same thing to my clan mates this morning after getting it. I am in love with this gun.
-
I liked hung jury. But I wasn't the biggest fan. I used Jade archetype for everything, from trials carries to pve . Chaos is in that archetype and I absolutely love it for everything.
-
I'll use the DOGMA all day for bosses, but I still use the Hung Jury for adds and overall crowd control. I keep both guns available depending upon the situation.
-
This is blasphemy
-
People saying it's not good are just bad and can't aim or handle the stability. This weapon shreds through everything and is amazing on bosses.
-
Both aren't anything special.
-
3 AntwortenNope. Chaos Dogma is 💩
-
3 AntwortenThe Chaos Dogma hasn't even dropped for me (5 Genesis Chains and counting, no armor whatsoever) and I can tell it is amazing. I mean, to be able to keep up in damage with the Outbreak Prime, that's impressive. I will continue to use Outbreak Prime in the raid, though. Nanites are cool, and I can't aim.
