I have both and Dogma has finally dethroned the old King.
Triple Double is just too good, you can pump high impact crits into bosses for days. I was running strikes last night and while fighting Malok there were times when I was standing out in the open DPS-ing for so long that it was more likely I would have to duck into cover to survive rather than reload.
You see the DPS comparison videos on YouTube between the Dogma and the Outbreak Prime and it's actually quite impressive that a legendary scout with no special damage-over-time effects can keep up with an exotic primary that creates SIVA swarms.
It looks 100x better than Hung Jury too. Black and red with SIVA stuff all over it just looks amazing. As great as Hung Jury was the paint job was an eyesore to say the least.
Firefly is cool and all but I'd gladly sacrifice it for Triple Double any day. I don't miss it one bit.
TL;DR: Chaos Dogma is the new best legendary PvE weapon in the game. It's even pretty decent in PvP too.

2 AntwortenIt's amazing. It can take out a walker's leg before having to reload.
-
My angels advocate on my warlock is my favorite scout rifle.
-
17 AntwortenOh boy someone just got the Raid Scout and is now living in the moment. Vendor Hung Jury (Pre April) is by far the best PvE primary in the game and it's not even close. Raid weapons are VERY situational.
-
IMO Nope, hung jury 4 lyfe
-
Genesis is on par with it especially with how much group clearing is needed in raid
-
Nice :) didn't even use the HJ beast even though I bought it because it was said to be SO good, haha! And last night I got my first raid experience, got an invite to aksis part one and two. Ended up with scout and auto :)
-
when I saw the video in question, I was shocked that a primary could come close to beating the kig of single target DPS, Sleeper Simulant.
-
My angels advocate on hunter. I frickin love this weapon!
-
Hand of Judgement > Chaos Dogma
-
That weapon is only good for boss DPS; other than that, it's a shit weapon that you're always having to aim through a shaky scope and watch ammunition over.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von xceptone: 10/17/2016 5:45:44 AMThat gun is why I started complaining about Outbreak Prime being underpowered for what it was created for. I can put on an Exotic heavy and go HAM all the while doing massive dps with my Dogma. The sad part is, I think I'm the only guy who sees this...Outbreak was so not worth the trouble. Edit: I'll wait for Heroic Raid to pass final judgement.

I think they're almost equal at this point. With extended mag you're looking at 40+ shots per mag if you can hit all headshots. Lots of people complain about the stability but it's really just an acquired taste, like black coffee. They both have ups and downs but in the raid I'd rather see people using a Dogma over Jury. I have a similar scout to the jury, Cryptic Dragon with Triple Tap, Firefly, and High Cal and I'm loving it to pieces. I wouldn't say it's dethroned the Jury, but it's sitting close to it.
-
I'm still to get the Chaos Dogma but the vendor HJ was already dethroned. I have a Hand Of Judgment with Red dot-OAS, Perfect Balance, Explosive Rounds and Firefly. I shoots a tad slower but much harder and with ER there is just no competition. I'm not convinced that the Dogma will replace it but I'm happy to find out. :) (On Titan most of the time.)

Bosses...yes.But overall pve stuff? Noooo. Besides you should be using a special, and a heavy weapon on the boss anyways for more dps.
-
Bearbeitet von Ray: 10/17/2016 12:58:00 PMIt's only good for bosses. DEFINITELY not the best pve weapon in the game. Hung Jury is better in every other way Lol the raid auto rifle is far better than the scout
-
2 AntwortenWow! A raid weapon that only drops from final boss is better than a simple vendor weapon?! No way! Eeeeerrgmaaaaaagheeeerrrddd Do you have more of these great enlightning discoveries?
-
Nope, just for bosses, not pure pve gameplay
-
For bosses, maybe, but my Primary is mostly used on fodder and my Special and Heavy on the boss.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von SOB BADD0GGIE: 10/17/2016 12:23:05 PMIt's a great gun to be sure, but very situational. It's great for boss DPS, but not so good (or rather as good) as HJ for trash adds. CD is good for boss fights, HJ is good for both. EDIT: It's really the roll on the vendor HJ that everyone fell in love with. The same roll on a different scout in the same archetype will yield similar results.

Dogma is like a black spindle for your primary
-
For general pve genesis chain or my not like the others (hunter) is way more practical. Boss fights nothing can compete with my dogma/ldr combo. My ldr is beautiful :)
-
If only stability wasn't so terrible..
-
8 AntwortenI don't understand why people always compare them against bosses. Why are you using a primary against a boss? You have a special and heavy weapon for that. My primary is for killing trash mobs. The vendor Hung Jury is better at doing that.
-
2 AntwortenWhat middle tree perk do you use? They all seem like good options and I'm not sure which one to use.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von SickChocThunder: 10/17/2016 11:20:27 AMActually outbreak prime out stats chaos dogma And with the severe kickback those stats would probably drop further in every day usage So gotta say I prefer that gun I do like dogma - but that kick back?? https://youtu.be/jYZ-k-Xfkg4

Eh, its ok. Its a shame the raid punishes you for headshots on enemies though. I prefer the auto rifle for the raid since you can't get crit spots on the shanks for p2, and since I use a cannon or sniper on aksis. Not a bad scout but I think its a bit much saying its the best ever. You shouldn't be using a primary on a boss anyways. I understand for DPS comparison tests, but lets be real, if you aren't using a sniper or heavy you are crippling yourself.
