Buff the Hawkmoon Petition
Basically what the title says, bump to agree to buffing hawkmoon and some other handcannons to make them more viable again, especially hawkmoon
Edit 1: There seems to be a misunderstanding, probably my fault because of the title, but I dont want it to go back to year one range, just a small buff to range and stability or just remove bloom and increase its accuracy
Edit 2: I do not mean buff its range to when it would out range scouts, christ people read the post before commenting

Hawkmoon needs a small dmg buff, I tend to leave people at almost no health because of the current damage

no, you can two shot people with quickly. If anything, auto rifles need a buff. They should be able to kill within the first 15 bullets fired. Not 40.

I still have no problem using the Hawkmoon. Never experience ghost bullets or any other problems

And allow it to snipe people across the map? Because that's what it did in it's former glory. It was more lethal at range than weapons actually designed to be lethal at range, them being Scout Rifles.

It unforetunately won't happen. It, Thorn, and LW were the probably the reason Bloom was introduced in the first place with the range of Hand Cannons cut down (and even more on these guns by actually lowering their range). They all had perks that made killing faster, and ruled the crucible for a very long time because of it. Bungie isn't going to go and "Make them overpowered again". While Hawkmoon was the lesser offender of the three, bringing it back to reliability would only make it th current go to gun, which would mean Bungie would just nerf it again.

1 AntwortenSo glad I read this post, I've been away from destiny for 6 months and couldn't figure out why my Hawkawesome just wasn't awesome anymore... Bloomin Bloom is to blame!! The range nerf I can live with, it was a pocket sniper before, but bloom is killing the most important aspect of using a hand cannon.. Accuracy!! It's supposed to be for players who like to pace their shots and go for the head!! There's nothing worse than lining up a dreg at mid range, pulling the trigger expecting their head to go pop!, and they stagger back after the bullet hits God knows where!!! Please fix this Bungo, it goes against what I remember you saying the purpose of hand cannons is.. Close to mid range accurate shooting, scouts for mid to long...

I run an appellant 3 with spray & play and luck in the chamber. It is sweet! Good range too! I like it better than the hawkmoon
