I'd prefer to just load into the last social space I was in when I signed out and only be in orbit if I was in orbit or logged out while on a planet.

Loading screen idea-- maybe you can orbit around your character like in the character screen (kind of like skyrim/fallout 4) during them? Would be a lot better than staring at a black screen.
