What happened to the stranger in the destiny storyline?

She's off in another place in time. Dead or alive? Hell if I know. But based only on the fact we got an upgraded edition of her gun I can only assume she's somewhere out there, fighting to good fight.[spoiler]Or she died and dropped her gun in the vault. Both equally possible.[/spoiler]
