Yup, I know there are a million of these posts. Consider this post one million and one. Stop messing around Bungie. I need more vault space. No joke. I want to collect all the loots, so do me a favor and get this going.
OR
Fix the existing vault so that going through gear is easier and more efficient. The ability to sort, filter AND dismantle, as well as having the same page be up when you come out of an inspection would make the whole process MUCH better. You are right, I don't need those crappy rolls on some of these old guns I will never use, but finding them in a sea of stuff I do actually want to keep is quite tedious.

What I am seeing is a lot of people who don't really want to "hoard" weapons, but they want the option to use things they have acquired, should they be so inclined.
I like the idea of a kiosk. Maybe set it up like some of the engrams, set the light level to 3(or whatever), random rolls, make it cost a reasonable amount of marks. The reason I am holding on to some weapons is the fact that they are no longer in the loot pool, but are also still perfectly viable with 1-1 infusion. I would be more likely to delete some of my stash if I knew I could go and grab it again should the meta change, I get bored with my current weapons, or I just like the way it looks/sounds.
Will I ever use my Questing Beast? Maybe, maybe not, but I keep the one rolled to my liking in my vault, just in case. Do I need two Righteous VII's? Nope, but I know I can't get anymore at the moment and I like the gun enough to want my options to be open.

1 AntwortenI kept VoG and CE gear, along with a lot of stuff that I have no way to obtain without deleting a character. KF gear got dismantled pretty quickly. It's ugly and it's only real value is in KF or the Cocoon perk. I am so glad that raid is behind us. So tedious and uninteresting.

2 AntwortenIt still amazes me that bungie added so much loot to Rise of Iron in addition to bringing back a ton of year 1 items, and bungie did nothing about storage for it. No added vault space, no new kiosks, nothing. Didn't Deej even say in a live stream that vault issues were gonna be a thing of the past? Why would you ever say anything like that when you KNEW they were doing nothing. The devs are so out of touch. I know they said they would be adding more (only because of community backlash) but yet here we are almost a month into RoI and crickets. Every time I feel like Bungie gets something right, they turn around and do something like this.

Bungie makes all of these great experiences which has made up my last two years in gaming with VoG, CE, KF, PoE, SRL, FotL, CD, and who knows how many other acronyms. Unfortunately, I have very little memento of them because there's nowhere to keep the stuff I got from them. I've had to get rid of all my Y1 and Y2 raid armour sets, all of my Festival of the Lost masks, SRL racing gear and even now I'm still toe-ing the line of a full vault. They've made this game a hoarder's dream with no ability to do so. We've got the kiosks, which enable hoarding in the form of collecting every ship, shader and sparrow, but don't give us the means to collect things that actually have had an effect on the game. I don't know how many times someone has asked if I had whatever weapon, armour piece, ship, whatever and I've had to say "I used to, but I ran out of vault space"

1 AntwortenThough I completely understand why you would want to collect everything (I once had that desire too), when it comes to legendaries, if they are year one they are pretty much useless. Even on a small arms solar burn heroic strike, Vision of Confluence isn't worth anything because it doesn't have a year 3 attack value, other primaries that aren't even solar can beat it just with small arms. The only year 1 weapons I keep around are a select few weapons to use in regular crucible (like my Ghelion's Demise and Radegast's Fury) and I keep vision of confluence for that rare Vault of Glass nostalgia run. If you really have enough weapons,. or armor, to fill up all 72 weapon/armor slots in your valut, and all the open slots on all 3 characters, then there is no way you use every weapon/armor set you have on a regular basis, so find your least used stuff and accept that since you don't use it, it simply takes up space. Bungie isn't going to give us a 999 vault space (which I bet people would claim still isn't enough) and they aren't going to remove the limit. This threads used to mean something but at this point in the game if your vault is full, you have some cleaning to do.

Bearbeitet von Sijray21: 10/13/2016 6:33:39 PMThe Ishtar Commander app is my best friend for an organized vault and transfer tool. Sad that it takes a third party app to get some basic sorting and functionality. I've cleaned out so many older weapons/gear for newer items now. Kind of sad.

I think they need a legendary Kiosk for weapons and gear. Under each weapon there is a choice of every roll that you have received for that gun or armor. This would allow you to streamline your vault for each season without losing any of your favorite equipment.

My weapons just filled up and it's because I'm keeping 385 infusion fuel, and I need to scrap all my 370 and 360 infusion fuel. I still keep some of my favorite year 1 gear, my first patience and time, epitaph, and a few of the best cloaks from year 1 too like the AOS # CRYTPID and ghost angel. You guys are terrible hoarders.

It's supposed to be coming. I read an article awhile back (on IGN I believe) where they conducted an interview with one of the developers, and he stated that one of the things they want to do is expand that space, and leaving legacy consoles behind will allow then to do it. He said that it just wouldn't be done with the release of ROI, but sometime after. So, just keep juggling things for awhile.
