Ehy not just use any hand canon/scout with firefly snd gjallahorb for wolfpacks? The perk dosent seem so strong than it looks.
-
I have a Cocytus with Triple Tap, Extended Mag, and Firefly. I really don't see the need to go through the most annoying quest ever when it might not even be better and it would prevent me from using Gjallarhorn.
-
It's 390 so good infusion fuel if you don't like it.
-
Assuming we're talking about Outbreak Prime here. There's not much of a grind for it, just need to set some time aside to plow through the raid and the rest is easy. As for the weapon itself, seems like a massive case of personal preference. I honestly did not care for it; low impact high rate of fire is not what I wanted from a pulse rifle. The swarm thing is cool but didn't trigger enough for my preferences and often seemed like a crutch to compensate for its archetype. Some people will love it, some will hate it, some won't care enough to pitch a tent in either camp.

Bearbeitet von bakenfunk1: 10/12/2016 4:46:36 PMThe quest part is not hard. You can find people to do it with. I play with 3 other guys on the regular. They have been playing together for years and i am more of the "new guy" So, . i have completed all the quests but have no one to do the final code with. I completed it on my warlock, mostly done with it on my titan. But was trying to LFG some people to do the final code to get the gun for a few days with no help cause everyone says the final code step is annoying. if i can get some peeps to help me with the code awesome, Im sure i will love the gun. But if i can't.. eh... not gonna break my heart.

1 AntwortenDunno it hasn't been released yet.
-
its super easy, why would you not do it.. get the quest, you are going to patrol and do nf anyways so its a free exotic for a bit of your time, doing things you will do anyways. its good but, not super amazing.. those calling for a nerf are just low light players from IB going up against 386 guys.. anything will melt them. the gun is good right where it is.
-
Outbreak prime is pretty much like a trophy, if you get it you can show that you have done it those kind of people who ask for it or want to see it for your experience in the raid
-
It's like this: If you LFG, eventually you're going to land a team that wants to do all monitors. So you get the quest for free, basically. Next week, LFG for a 3 man team or if you have two friends to do the quest. . . The quest takes 2-3 hours, but some of theses activities you might needed to do anyway. 1 nightfall 3 public events 3 strikes or crucible matches 3 trips to iron temple 3 iron forges 3 Raid bosses
-
2 AntwortenI play a sunsinger lock and use outbreak prime. Every kill on aksis I was #1 for damage done.
-
I find it rewarding to play with Really wish the exotic features cool down was buffed, but still fun
-
3 AntwortenGood against Fallen, other guns better overall. The original vendor Hung Jury is still the best PvE primary in the game.
-
4 AntwortenIt isn't hard to get as long as you have 2 friends of different classes ready to help. As for its current usefulness... PVE - No where near worth an exotic slot damage wise (but is still satisfying to get headshots with). Siva mites are practically useless. PvP - Hawksaw archetype; it is good if you can land headshots without AIM assist and if you spam fire. Expelled Siva mites are not enough to kill 100-0, but put out swarm grenade damage.
-
16 AntwortenI infused it into the raid auto rifle. Firefly is much better than those siva things
-
3 Antwortenit is good for infusing into a better primary at 390 for now, you can do the quests to get all 3 then get one from the kiosk and infuse the 3 at 390. it won't matter in a week anyway when hard raid comes and we can be 400. thank jesus we can finally stop getting useless 384, 385, 386 stuff from bungie cap these 388, 389 items are too far and few
-
~STEEL MEDULLA? Oh, you mean Outbreak Prime. Sure. It's a great Exotic. It's also 390. But I like Pulse Rifles, so whether or not you want it is up to you.
-
Bearbeitet von CrimzonReaper: 10/12/2016 1:13:01 PMI like it simply because it's fun to use. When you have a whole team running the raid with them you have nanites everywhere. The quest itself looks and sounds worst then it actually is, codes are all on the net and there is a calculator for the last puzzle on the net as well, hardest part is doing the raid twice which isn't that bad with people who know what they're doing.
-
I never use it in the raid. Always have the raid scout or auto rifle equipped during the boss battles. I use an exotic heavy (sword or sleeper simulant) all the time.
-
It can put down some serious DPS on the Raid Bosses. It's no Gjallarhorn, but I always have the top 3 highest lights use it and a Shotgun for adds since we'll be using the cannons on Aksis anyways.
-
I love it. It is amazingly stable, and the siva rounds are great. Though when not fighting Fallen, there are other better options.
-
"Is the raid pusle worth the grind?" Is the Touch of Malice?
There's your answer
-
It's not that bad of a grind honestly
-
Its a solid weapon. The stability is as good as it gets. But the best use is in the raid itself for crowd control.
-
5 AntwortenIt's a solid weapon, but the SIVA mites are underwhelming on any non Fallen enemy.
-
I'd you mean outbreak prime then yeah, it's something fun and different to mess around with. Not sure how much extra damage it dies to fallen/SIVA types...maybe someone can chime on. Pretty cool visual look a la Malice. Do it....don't so it...up to you. As others said if you think you will ever want it do it now as you need others to compete the quest. Finishing the raid and getting the quest is really the biggest hurdle.
-
Do the quest three times to infuse two other primaries to 390, then save 1 just in case.
-
Because outbreak primes does much more damage by a long shot,??
