I Just Think Its Funny That...
Everyone snipes in Trials and no one bats an eye, but everyone shotguns in Supremacy and people lose their minds.
I hate to say it, but each game mode in Destiny is about adapting. This one is no exception.

1 AntwortenHave you even played this trials map? Its shotguns wet dream, lots of cover and tight corridors. There a few sight lines for snipers but flanking is so easy on this map.

You have a lot to lose. So using snipers to keep your distant is a smart strategy. Supremacy: eventhough it's a team mode, everyone is all for themselves. So taking risks by storming the enemies and dying is not a big deal.

Actually everyone shotguns in trials now........like 90% of the players I think ive faced one all snipers team in year 3. Usually all shotguns or 1 sniper two shotguns

What do you expect. The top percent of players have no problem adapting. The average player will complain if they have to. Specially in a competitive game mode where shit isn't handed to them on a silver platter like trials.

Truth. I have been loving the lack of snuping in this IB. I can easily adapt to shotguns, the snipers always get me.

Everyone that is complaining is probably losing the majority of their 1v1 shotgun battles. It's may not take skill to aim with a shotgun but there is some degree of movement skill involved with being an effective shotgunner in a gamemode full of other shotgunners.

People who complain about weapons, seem to have a severe deficit in both weapon mechanics and comprehension - either within the game world or real life.

2 AntwortenThe shotguns aren't the problem, it's the insane ability cool downs. Grenades, smoke bombs, rechargeable melees kill you faster than a primary or a shotgun lol I don't understand why no one has burned this forum down with an abilities nerf lol

Some players tend to realize that some game modes promote certain weapons.

There's nothing to complain about, it's the nature of the game mode. As you stated, adapt.

I rarely seen snipers anywhere but trials, every other mode all I've seen is mostly shotguns. Thought shot guns where fine before the first few nerfs but also thought snipers where okay. My only minor complaint is leave the nerfs pvp only.

What I love is going into supremacy and seeing the guardian who's clinging for dear life to his precious sniper despite the fact that the few kills he gets he can't collect the crest and ends the game with so few points he causes his team to lose by essentially making it 6v5 lol

i think the difference is that if i see a sniper i feel like i have a chance to win the gunfight, but when i see this big titan charging at me with his super cool juggernaut shield up all i can do is put the controller down. its really annoying
