I Just Think Its Funny That...
Everyone snipes in Trials and no one bats an eye, but everyone shotguns in Supremacy and people lose their minds.
I hate to say it, but each game mode in Destiny is about adapting. This one is no exception.

From my experience by far the most common setup for trials teams is one sniper and two shotguns.

No one bats an eye are you kidding me? Eyes have been fluttering like mad about snipers ever since trials was a thing!

Agree. I'll never play supremacy again unless it's IB or daily. I'm more of a rift/control player

The problem is that nobody should spawn/start with special ammo. Its should be droppped in match like heavy, either the same time as heavy or slightly faster intervals

3 AntwortenThe main problem with many shotties is the kill range. In my humble opinion the kill range should be like the Invective or our good old Found Verdict. Super deadly from close range and not from 10 feet away like now. A decently rolled Matador or Conspiracy easily doubles the kill range of the standard shotties.

Well, that is the sole reason I almost never play Trials but loves Supremacy. I hate sniping myself, it's just boring - and I hate playing against snipers as well. Supremacy is fantastic because snipers are pretty much useless.

okay so... 1) people constantly complained about snipers only in trials. 2) the problem with supremacy isn't shotguns. supremacy just highlights crucible's longest standing problem which is gank distance. To which shotguns are apart of but not the only thing contributing. 3) the real problem with supremacy is the fact that crests give super energy. I agree that each pvp mode has a different approach. That doesn't mean crucible is anything close to good though.

1 AntwortenThis is a nice change of pace. The last IB clash I got lazy and would just post up in the back with Covolance's Duty and just 3 shot people in the head from a mile away. With no glowing red light when you're scoped up usually you drop people before they even know where you are.

Some of the best players in the game are shotgunners. I've seen ppl get to the lighthouse on just shotguns. Don't.

Well I think its funny because of the irony of having your "dignity taken" from a guy and his team camping corners and teabagging you afterwards. Then laughing as they try to clear the map towards you while you mow them down with your primary and wondering if they still remember that they have a primary and all kinds of cover.

I don't complain about anything because I agree. I can't snipe in PvP to save my mother's life, but shot gunning is another story. I'm skilled using scouts and shottys. Behind that I'm good with hand cannons and fusions. That's the only 4 I'll use in the crucible. No matter what kills me I won't complain because either A) I wasn't good enough to kill the sniper or point blank shotgunner. Or B) I put my own self into a situation to get killed with a shotgun. Bottom line - everyone is better with different weapons. Respect their choice and stop posting on these forums begging bungie to help you out because you don't like to die.

1 AntwortenUmm who snipes in trials? Idk what trials you are playing, but i have played 2 flawless cards and no team had more than 1 sniper. Pure rushing shotgunners, only played 5 snipers in 15 games.
