We need a buff. Last nerf was unnecessary. Probably the most linear subclass in the game as far as pvp setups. Grenades are practically useless unless you're standing directly on top of the blast. It would've been nice if there was more variety among the nodes as well. The only serious modifier there is combustion while warlocks and titans have a myriad of options as well as multiple melees. Idk it just seems like the subclass got crapped on for nothing.

I mained a warlock from beta to the release of RoI. Finally started a second character and made a hunter a week before iron banner. In all my time as a warlock I've never even come close to how well I do in crucible as a hunter. Hunter is stupid easy to use on all three elements. People want to complain about bladedancer being the weakest subclass yet I'm able to challenge a hammer titan and a stormlock like they were nothing.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Pasta: 10/8/2016 2:32:59 PMFix tripmines to prenerf damage but leave out the stick. My reasoning behind this is so I don't have to sit near my tripmine and give it away to get a kill. Also swarm grenades are a joke they don't bounce like skip grenades or have the damage of the warlocks scatter grenade so why would I use them?
-
1 AntwortenThe knife and tripmine nerf were unneeded. Besides that, gunslinger is amazing at pvp.
-
1 AntwortenRevert the trip mine damage and throwing knife nerfs. But don't let the trip mines stick , they r traps not fusion grenades.
-
Re-buff throwing knives, bring back the sticky on tripmines, and have an accuracy nerf to the Super (substantial, but not over-kill) in return.
-
1 AntwortenAll these post about hunters, yes the whole class is pathetic compared to Titans and warlocks. Terrible nades, buggy supers on and on. But who cares. Bungietards will probably need them again. Skip nades will get nerfed. Tether still doesn't work right.

1 AntwortenI main hunter and I don't thing GS needs buff

71 AntwortenBearbeitet von Capt: 10/9/2016 6:05:25 PMYou have a super that pretty much reaches across the map and kills people instantly, I understand you're bad and you need to use a hunter but for real. This is just sad. 63 replies. Wow, All of you hunters need anger management.

12 AntwortenI just want the trip mines to stick again

5 AntwortenI've seen tripemines still one shot people and have had it done to me while using a max armor voidwalker

7 AntwortenI do think that Gunslingers deserve a little buff to their Neutral Game. You have Incendiary nade which is great but Swarm is still kinda useless and I don't think I've been killed by a Tripmine since their damage reduction. Increase Swarm Grenades tracking speed maybe and undo the Tripmine damage reduction. I don't even know why Throwinng Knife got nerfed. I was more impressed than frustrated when I got killed by one but I guess things that are considered frustrating more than overpowered get nerfed eventually *cough*Firebolt*cough*. I'd say undo the Throwing Knife nerf and maybe fix the inconsistencies involving the burn. The Super doesn't need any changes. Having 3 instant kill shots is worth any downside.
-
6 AntwortenI stopped five golden guns in one match the other day and I'm not good. They need a buff.
-
Im just mad that if you have incendiary blade on for your throwing knives and you get a precision hit then the burn does not proc. Like if im using the burn perk and i get a precision hit it should kill, its not like it happens all the time
-
3 AntwortenThe best buff is to switch over to warlock. The nerfs have made playing hunter not as fun for me.
-
I run Gunslinger exclusively in PVP. It's absolutely fine where it's at.
-
9 AntwortenNo its fine. Only 2 subs that need help are defenders and sunbreakers.
-
8 AntwortenI've used my fair share of gunslinger on my hunter. But personally I find it extremely frustrating when in Iron Banner or Trials, that Titan and Warlocks have an area damage that is way bigger then a hunter. You can be in the air and still killed by there Supers. Where as if you're a hunter then you have to hit them directly. I just wish the hunter had something that had more area damage
-
3 Antworten1) the super is still amazing for pvp 2) trip mines weren't the only grenade, incendiary is amazing if you know how to place them properly 3) throwing knives don't do as much damage, but can still be used to kill
-
I've noticed with incendiary grenade you need to bounce it up to chest level to kill/severely wound another guardian If you just let it roll on the floor the damage will be negligible
-
I will say, the Throwing Knife nerf was unnecessary.

Bearbeitet von SplashyMcSplash: 10/8/2016 5:54:59 PMI prefer Deadeye over Combustion and reading one of the below comments another Gunslinger player prefers Gunfighter over Combustion. IMO Gunslinger has a more varied pvp setup than Bladedancers or even Nightstalkers. While I'm not a fan of the recent nerfs I still think the Gunslinger can and is still be pretty deadly in the right hands.

The grenade selection unfortunately is still just a debate between incendiary and tripmines, as swarm grenades are still underwhelming. However both are incredibly potent when used correctly. Tripmines work best at, you guessed it, stupid people. They deal extreme amounts of damage to unsuspecting and unaware players leaving them vulnerable for you or your team to take care of. Incendiary grenades when you toss them right can deal massive damage at a time and keep an enemy out of a fight with a burn. Last patch they made some great changes to gunslingers perks that give some good variety on what to choose. Now that scavenger gives bonus grenade energy it can be a tough choice between it and gunslingers trance for stability. With chain of woe giving more agility it's also a even better perk choice than before. I Personally don't use combustion, just because I feel like I'd get more kills getting more golden guns in a match than situational explosions.
