Unless you're running with a full fireteam, you're going to get thrown in with a bunch of randoms in I.B., and there are so many who either don't understand the concept of Supremecy or simply don't care if they win. Get a kill and run away to get another kill leaving the crest on the ground, yeah that will get you a win. My suggestion is to add a consolation prize to the losing side, in addition to any drops that might happen. Make it 20 or 50 points towards Iron Banner rep. Not enough to make a huge difference, but enough so that if you happen to get stuck with a losing group, you're at least making progress towards the next rank. That or offer a daily bounty so you at least have the chance to make up some ground. I got stuck at rank 4 and kept getting thrown in with randoms last night, and even when I was leading our team on the scoreboard, we kept losing. And I watched my progress bar sit still match after match.

I went in solo all day the first day. I had maybe a total of 15 medallions due to bad teams who don't know how to deny crests. That being said, I hit rank 5 quickly between the wins I did get, the redeeming of medallions alongside it and the bounties. If you're having that much issue running solo and keep getting bad teams, go do a strike or two, then come back. I did that after a losing streak and things picked up from there.

It's already there, you get medallions that offer extra xp on your next win.

Don't you get a medallion for extra xp on your next win?

2 AntwortenPeople would afk for hours and rank up without doing anything at all... The current medallion system works just fine, it offers you a chance to get rep from losing streak and still requires you to win. Consider yourselves lucky, way back at the beginning of year 1 you didn't get anything at all from losses.

New daily bounty: "Everyone gets a trophy". Get 5 losses in a row, receive 500 IB rep. Followed up by: "Turn that frown upside down". 10 losses in a row, receive an exotic engram of your choice. #sarcasm

3 AntwortenThey don't need a consolation prize. They need to stick to Clash. The game mode is the problem.

3 AntwortenThey do its called the Medallion. Its currently worth 150 when you turn it in vs 250 for a win. The biggest problem is the amount of them you can hold.

Seems to be fireteam, or lose mostly. I have no fireteam, solo warrior, can hold my own, but like you said, no one understands the jist of mode( Fireteams( the experienced ones) still had a snipe/ scout in back, and the rest rushed and left crests for the last member to pick up. Was a good strat since the snipes/scouts could stop most from getting them. Also noticed the 5 and 6 man fireteams must have all been running the artifact with the charge others supers on. 1 match in particular, they were circle jerking and 1 always had a super going. Looked like the storm warlocks were the tip, leaving behind orbs from hell, and the rest following and soaking orbs up and the extra charge. Once again, a nice strat, though doesn't bode well for the team of randos lol. This mode should have a choice of fireteam or rando mode, so all can have fun and a better chance of winning. As it is, fireteams are winning 80% if not more imo. Til we meet on the bannerfield guardian, b safe

easy solution. Either increase medallion cap or make it so that once you hit the cap they either redeem themselves or you can take them to Efrideet and turn them in. Now I wait for the hate.

1 AntwortenThat's what the iron medallion are for
