A message to those who think Supremacy is "cancer"
I have read so many comments today about "Supremacy being cancer" "Supremacy sucks" etc.
Those who think that are more than likely the ones who suck at it, not because they are bad at PvP but they aren't used to getting beaten by skrubs. Cries of "Bullcrap, I killed 50 of you skrubs and tea bagged you all twice and yet your team won. Typical Bungie" yet never thought for a second to grab the big bright thing that dropped where they died, or "Oh, seriously 4 of you standing there and shooting me. 1v1 me skrub". Supremacy is a fast paced, brillant game style for nublets learning to PvP, team work, and focusing on crest collection means that you have a real chance, as long as your team actually understands that it is no longer clash.
I am not great at PvP, I do what I need and I get out, though now I happily run supremacy. I love the way that you can be losing, then you break their pattern once and you can end up clutching the win, I love that you can run pretty much any decent gun setup and still do ok, I think it's great that I rarely see sweaties and their "meta" weapons.
So many new players and crucible amateurs got to do Iron Banner and not get utterly wrecked by the crucible elite. The only bad thing in Supremacy is when you get the filthy Rumble/Clash skrubs who don't understand team work or tactics.
The problem isn't with the game mode, the problem is with you.

8 AntwortenWhat a moderate post, always amuses me when some people think being moderate is the same as wisdom. Typical young people thinking your feelings are enough to make something true. You argument literally is, I like it, therefore it is good. Other people don't like it there are a problem. Fair enough you are happy, some people don't like it and why is there anything wrong some people not liking it? Why do they have to be a problem. You know what I think, that people liking or disliking a game mode or a feature is always just fine. You know what isn't fine, people who say others who have a certain opinion about a feature or mode are a problem. Basically think what you like about a game or a feature because they are inanimate things, but people have a right to have an opinion and not be a problem.

Only bad thing is playing solo. If you are playing differently than your team, no matter your quality of play, it's difficult. Once you realize you are paired with mostly shotgun teammates, primary play normally leaves you surrounded. When everyone runs in packs and only uses primary it's super easy. No matter light level.

Congrats on finding a game mode that you like. However, I dont see any reason to continue playing it once I've completed my task in the Rise of Iron Book for it. Overall Supremacy just isnt a fun game mode (at least for me). In addition nothing in Supremacy is going to help me improve as a player. Rumble is more of a game mode that I enjoy and is what I will play when I want "fast paced action".

The "objective" is just asking people to use shotguns, but it still plays no different than classic Clash. Bungie needs to add more gamemodes like Zone Control. Where you will score absolutely no points for just mindlessly killing people. Obviously killing opponents is part of every game mode in every FPS. But there needs to be more gamemodes that focus around the objective.

Actually I'm loving playing this game mode. It's nice not having my head popped by a sniper every other death. And sure there's lots of shotguns, but radar awareness goes a long way to avoiding them. By far the most primary weapon fights I've been involved with in Crucible play in a very long time.

1 AntwortenSupremacy. Have a shot equipped? Good. Don't have one? Equip a shotgun. Hate shotguns? Equip a shotgun. Love your primary? Equip the Universal Remote. Now that you've done this, go out there and run in straight lines at each other and kill each other at the same time.. Over and over again.

It's been super aggressive. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Surprisingly, I don't really mind the model for IB. Main reason? It's fast pace vs camp heavy versions.

Supremacy is in my opinion, one of the 'better' game modes for IB. The worst was Rift. I have no idea whose idea it was to put Rift as IB a few months back.

What is all this fast paced action people are talking about. That's the only part I was looking forward to. So far most of my team has either been standing or crouching around doing nothing, or sneaking around the edge of the map. Opponents mostly baiting and flanking for 3 on 1 team shots or sneak attack shotgunning people when they're already engaged in a firefight. There have been a few games here and there, where people were MOVING TOGETHER at a decent pace and it was actually fun. For the most part, it has just been mind numbingly silly and frustrating.

It's not the mode that's the problem, it's that the mode highlights all the problems with the crucible so well.

From someone who sniped exclusively since the TDB I have been having tons of fun this IB messing around with a shotty. Give me a MIDA and sniper and I would still take this any day over the camp fest that is clash

Supremacy is a right laugh imo, but people dont have to like it. I dont like salvage. No biggie, I'll play something else.

The main problem is now the shotties ,specially that high range shotgun archetype , before that archetype showed up in the form of Felwinters lie and those who remember when that was the only shotty like that , that it wasnt as bad , no one wants it , very few like it but Bungie instead of just making that archetype disappear they bring back more of them. Before that archetype shotties were still deadly but you had to be upclose , unless you had Rangefinder and the bullet spread perk they werent as annoying but Bungie dont give a shit , instead they bring back the Party Crasher ,The Matador and gave everyone on TTK a conspiracy Theory
