I have read so many comments today about "Supremacy being cancer" "Supremacy sucks" etc.
Those who think that are more than likely the ones who suck at it, not because they are bad at PvP but they aren't used to getting beaten by skrubs. Cries of "Bullcrap, I killed 50 of you skrubs and tea bagged you all twice and yet your team won. Typical Bungie" yet never thought for a second to grab the big bright thing that dropped where they died, or "Oh, seriously 4 of you standing there and shooting me. 1v1 me skrub". Supremacy is a fast paced, brillant game style for nublets learning to PvP, team work, and focusing on crest collection means that you have a real chance, as long as your team actually understands that it is no longer clash.
I am not great at PvP, I do what I need and I get out, though now I happily run supremacy. I love the way that you can be losing, then you break their pattern once and you can end up clutching the win, I love that you can run pretty much any decent gun setup and still do ok, I think it's great that I rarely see sweaties and their "meta" weapons.
So many new players and crucible amateurs got to do Iron Banner and not get utterly wrecked by the crucible elite. The only bad thing in Supremacy is when you get the filthy Rumble/Clash skrubs who don't understand team work or tactics.
The problem isn't with the game mode, the problem is with you.

Bearbeitet von Jin: 10/6/2016 7:32:53 PMI love the playlist, I just sit back and kill players, and use the crest as bait to kill more. I don't really care about the win. I usually tell my teammates to just pick my crests up for me.

Bearbeitet von Tenacious_B: 10/6/2016 7:29:32 PMSo much whining... pvp is fine. The maps are fine, the modes are fine, the weapons are fine... bungie are the developers and have the experience to make mp maps, you guys do not. It is what it is, get good or get wrecked

Bring mayhem clash to iron banner.

Supremacy is horrible. All shotguns and minimal enjoyment. There are some IB versions that I enjoy more than others, but I always have at least some enjoyment. This? No. Only reason I forced myself through was for the gear. Simply horrible.
-
I thought it was bad at first, but I quite like it.
-
I love it. Yeah it's filled with shotguns but that's because it's all close quarters unless your one of those players who never collect the crests! I think it's crazy fun.

Bearbeitet von themisterphenix: 10/6/2016 5:25:07 PMNothing wrong with the game mode or IB.Problem is the meta is geared more so towards Gears Of War shotgun melee style play right now.I don't know if it's been done on purpose hoping to keep some gears fans or not...Since like gears 4 drops tomorrow.

I don't think it's cancer... I THINK IT'S AIDS!!!

If people had difficulty with Control, I'm not surprised they have difficulty with Supremacy. On a side note, you can't run any setup. Shotguns and sidearms rule, snipers suck dick in Supremacy. And the Matador 64/ Party Crasher +1/other high impact shotguns definitely are meta weapons.

I love Supremacy, but I hate the fact that it's in IB this month. I'm amazing at Supremacy but IB supremacy is the bane of my existence. I still get PTSD flashbacks, of all the fist of havocs, and shotguns
-
Finished near the top or top every match as my team stomped almost every team we played. Don't like the game mode.

If you don't like supremacy it's cause you don't own a shotgun

It's amazing how many people can't tell the difference between the problem with a game type, a weapon type, and map design. The single biggest problem with destiny crucible, that isn't network based, is that Bungie no longer had a competent staff of map designers to make interesting and balanced maps that allow mid to long range engagements. Bungie's only style of mid-long engagements are lane style shooting galleries that are first come first serve and are either easily campable or relegated to the irrelevant outskirts of the map. Any attempt at something resembling one of their classic ranged maps ends up being an abomination like skyshock which is better suited as a patrol zone where enemies blindly rush you. All of these features are made brutally obvious in the new maps released with RoI. TL;dr if Bungie's map design/sandbox team wasn't JV, then complaints about weapon balancing and game types would dramatically decrease. Until then, people need to learn to be a little more flexible than trying to throw Mida at every map.

5 AntwortenYou must be new. It's like this no matter what the playlist is for Iron Banana. At this point, I'm positive that people are just posting stuff to troll the forums. That being said, Rift was probably the worst Iron Banner to date and hasn't been back since.

It's boring to me, but I'm not complaining. Would be nice to have another way to get gear as easy.
I love the way that you can be losing, then you break their pattern once and you can end up clutching the win
My team was down 30 crests and the enemy team was at 120 and we ended up winning because my entire team had supers and the enemy team was just sitting in the building on firebase thuria. It was amazing

Bearbeitet von BurntCheezit202: 10/6/2016 3:18:33 PMI hate playing but only cause I feel dirty when I run around the map blink shot gunning

I don't think the game mode is terrible, it's just that it's a Shotgun fest because you really need to get close. I'm not a fan of that form of gameplay.

7 AntwortenWell... I agree it's funny. I don't agree with the "no more meta" Basically long range shotguns are making fusions pretty much useless. And, yes, they still "snipe" you. The fast paced CQC mechanics is also basically taking out Snipers, side arms, Slow rate of fire Scouts. So there is a meta and I have to say it's annoying AF. I've been matched with full teams of matador/party crasher runners and it's really NOT funny at all. And before anyone may ask... yes. I preferred the cancerous HC/sniper previous meta. You had more options to counter it. In supremacy the game type basically force you to run a shotgun and a fast pulse.

My experience so far is that I'm noticed guys at higher light are melting me. I'm used to being at max light so this is much different IB for me. Supremacy is kinda weird. Need to get used to it I guess. It's hard to get win's if you don't work together and when you got a team of rando's it makes it even harder. I'm finding wins difficult by nature of the objective. I'm guessing when the game mode gets more mature then people will learn the strats better. Stormcallers and arc blade seems to be the meta in supremacy. Time to pull out the warlock. For anyone who is no good with a shotgun or fusion good luck.

5 AntwortenI like it because it makes me play outside my element and play a different play style.

Bearbeitet von FixtusBlack: 10/6/2016 2:25:59 PMI just want to know why people are running Defender so frequently on IB. There's nothing to defend, so it's not about holding an area. I'm not going in there, so it's not to get kills. And while you could grant your team Weapons or Armor of Light, you're also throwing up a huge purple sign that says "I AM CURRENTLY GRANTING MY TEAM AN ADVANTAGE" so that the enemy team knows to book it to the other side of the map for a while. I'm genuinely curious; is there something I'm missing? What makes it worthwhile to throw up bubbles rather than smash in faces with flaming hammers?

1 AntwortenShout out to all the Hunters still left. I admit, I would leave if I wasn't too lazy to level up my warlock

I dont think its cancer i think this type of Gamemode was needed, but i do think alot of weapons mainly primaries have become unusable in this game mode
