A message to those who think Supremacy is "cancer"
I have read so many comments today about "Supremacy being cancer" "Supremacy sucks" etc.
Those who think that are more than likely the ones who suck at it, not because they are bad at PvP but they aren't used to getting beaten by skrubs. Cries of "Bullcrap, I killed 50 of you skrubs and tea bagged you all twice and yet your team won. Typical Bungie" yet never thought for a second to grab the big bright thing that dropped where they died, or "Oh, seriously 4 of you standing there and shooting me. 1v1 me skrub". Supremacy is a fast paced, brillant game style for nublets learning to PvP, team work, and focusing on crest collection means that you have a real chance, as long as your team actually understands that it is no longer clash.
I am not great at PvP, I do what I need and I get out, though now I happily run supremacy. I love the way that you can be losing, then you break their pattern once and you can end up clutching the win, I love that you can run pretty much any decent gun setup and still do ok, I think it's great that I rarely see sweaties and their "meta" weapons.
So many new players and crucible amateurs got to do Iron Banner and not get utterly wrecked by the crucible elite. The only bad thing in Supremacy is when you get the filthy Rumble/Clash skrubs who don't understand team work or tactics.
The problem isn't with the game mode, the problem is with you.

The thing I hate most this Iron Banner is the matchmaking. Skill based matchmaking was it? Total bullshit, every match is filled with guys who go flawless every week. Let me tell you, I do not fit in between those people, and yet Bungie's genious matchmaking thinks its a good idea to match me with those guys every -blam!-ing game. Just turn back to CBMM, SBMM isnt doing what its supposed to anyways. So at least make our connection be good. For Gods sake..

I'm an old scrub lord with crappy reflexes. I suck at pvp. I don't like supremacy but I busted out my shotgun and tried to adapt. I don't cry about it. I just play and collect loot. Cheer up !!!! Next month it will change!!

I had a blast with my warlock and supremacy and I ran solo. I did very well and I'm a mediocre player. I'm usually very conservative but has to change it up for this and get in there more and I made sure to always follow groups. It's that simple.

Mate I love supremacy - its fast and active and I am doing way better in this game mode than any other. Its awesome.

No, it's just a terrible design. I could walk in and outgun 3 people and get shotgunned from behind by number 4, then I lose all the enemy crests as well as my own. I won that firefight by a factor of 3 and lost points by a factor of 4. That's kind of stupid. I'm not saying it's cancer, but it's still pretty bad.

3 AntwortenI often get large amount of kills in this game,ode, and often end up with 40+ score. The gamemode is cancer. It's AIDS. It's every other disease in known to man. It's hilarious how much the gap between the scores increases when our team gets all 3/4 special ammo crates lying around. Shotguns are such a crutch in this gamemode it's not even funny. You are [i]disadvantaged[/i] for not holding a secondary most of the time. Primary's are a last resort in this gamemode. It's "rush in with shotty first, if he's out of range then I'll switch to my primary". It's pathetic. Snipers need to be returned to their former status. Almost all primary's need a buff. Hand cannons need all ghost bullets and bloom removed, as well as increased range. Auto rifles need more damage and range. Most pulse rifles need increased base stability, its and ghosting bloom removed. After these changes, maybe shotguns will be less of a crutch and people can go back to [i]primarily[/i] using primary's.

And I've got a message for you sir. This gametype is awful, because it encourages the overuse of shotguns in maps that are built nearly from the ground up for CQC creating useless primaries. I can't even remember the last time I've seen the guy who touched the heavy box survive the buckshot thrown at him. Compounding this issue, is the fact that for whatever god-given reason, the matching system seems broken, and if it's not, it's outright disgraceful. As a 365 light level, I should not be matching a full team of 380+ people every other match. This is beyond, "git gud", it's "fix the damn system that's broken so that Destiny becomes FUN again. There has never been an Iron Banner where the gap between max level the majority of other players is as big as it is now, and throwing them together creates lop-sided grinds that quite honestly don't create an enjoyable experience. If this is the state that IB will remain in for the months to come, then I am saddened. Supremacy is cancer to be sure, but the real issue is the matchmaking.

1 AntwortenYou're going to have a bad time if you use anything but a shotgun. That's the problem. Unless you out gun your opponent before they do, you won't get a single fųcking crest the whole game. Good luck trying to get a crest from a long range kill. You'll get mowed down by three other people with shotguns before you even get there. No skill involved, no teamwork. Supremacy should [u]never[/u] be a competitive game mode, especially for iron banner.

And you say that their is no meta and every gun works good, that's because of all the patches bungie has put in and that's in any crucible game mode not just supremacy , actually the opposite is true. All you see is shotguns. The worst part is 90% Of the time it's matador or party crasher. I guarantee ur wrong about all weapons being used and when they put out some stats you will see most people using shotguns. You may like the game but judging by ur facts that definitely doesn't mean everyone likes the game. Shotgun based modes r boring for me because shotguns take the least amount of skill out of ne weapon and r the most unbalanced because of some ppl getting maxed range. Supremacy is a dingle berry

5 AntwortenThat felwinter artifact inspired me to run double shottys with no back up plans on a defender titan. Suppressor grenades and unbreakable force barrier is literally the most fun you'll ever have in a crucible match. The only difficult things to kill are stormtrancers who just popped their super and other titans who cleverly counter shotguns with juggernaut. Everyone else is fair game. Want a free win during this iron banner event against the people who somehow already have max light level and you're barely pushing 360? Try this build.
