A message to those who think Supremacy is "cancer"
I have read so many comments today about "Supremacy being cancer" "Supremacy sucks" etc.
Those who think that are more than likely the ones who suck at it, not because they are bad at PvP but they aren't used to getting beaten by skrubs. Cries of "Bullcrap, I killed 50 of you skrubs and tea bagged you all twice and yet your team won. Typical Bungie" yet never thought for a second to grab the big bright thing that dropped where they died, or "Oh, seriously 4 of you standing there and shooting me. 1v1 me skrub". Supremacy is a fast paced, brillant game style for nublets learning to PvP, team work, and focusing on crest collection means that you have a real chance, as long as your team actually understands that it is no longer clash.
I am not great at PvP, I do what I need and I get out, though now I happily run supremacy. I love the way that you can be losing, then you break their pattern once and you can end up clutching the win, I love that you can run pretty much any decent gun setup and still do ok, I think it's great that I rarely see sweaties and their "meta" weapons.
So many new players and crucible amateurs got to do Iron Banner and not get utterly wrecked by the crucible elite. The only bad thing in Supremacy is when you get the filthy Rumble/Clash skrubs who don't understand team work or tactics.
The problem isn't with the game mode, the problem is with you.

What an obnoxious way to look at it "if you don't like it, you're obviously bad". Far from it. Not to toot my own horn, but with good people, I go from winning some matches to winning most matches, topping the scoreboards and such. But supremacy is so victim to gank tactics and cheesing and it just doesn't wotk with this game's design. This low-rent call of duty stuff is disinteresting and unentertaining, and just poorly implemented. I could crush at Supremacy if I have three people around me with brains. [i][/i]it's just a sh*tty mode

I would be okay with it, except thay when it is the weekly shaxx bounty, getting 50 primary kills EFFICIENTLY is borderline impossible. Sadistic a holes at bungie for making that a step

I have good matches and garbage matches, just like everyone else. I use the Clever Dragon for my primary and a shotgun as special, which I use sparingly. People that use shotguns all the time, more than their primary, are annoying as hell.

1 AntwortenI disagree. I'm not the best PvP players, but I am consistently at the top of the leaderboards with 40+ points in Supremacy. With that being said, Supremacy is absolutely terrible. It is a massive shotgunfest that removes any sort of skill or logical thinking in the game. Although, this could honestly be said about any 6v6 game mode.

The "meta" weapons are shotguns. If you're not seeing shotguns you must be playing a different game.

One problem is Supremacy pretty much forces one style of gameplay. If you are a passive player, you will get owned. This mode should have been called "Shotguns and Supers" because that's all anyone uses. The biggest problem with this game mode overall though is the horrible lag that causes you to stand on a crest to collect it which causes you to die. That isn't a problem specific to this game mode, but it makes it all the more frustrating. Supremacy is good for a change of pace, but just like Rift, needs to never be an Iron Banner mode again.

It's because one guy can wipe out four others, but as soon as he dies and has no chance to grab the crests, then the other team gets his crest and denies all theirs. I've seen so many time that somebody will kill a bunch of others, and his team will end up with the short stick. This would be fine, it's just how the gamemode plays out and some like it and some don't, except that with all the RoI and quest and now-kill me now-in Iron Banner on top of it all, people, including me, who hate the gamemode are forced to play it. The gamemode sucks, not because of what it is, but because of forcing everyone to play it. Also, after RoI, me and a bunch of my friends have had horrible connections and red bars everywhere, with perfectly fine and stable internet. Hell, one friend has some insane internet, I swear I could download my entire library of games in an hour while streaming on Twitch, and he has red bars every match too. But yeah, forcing Supremacy is the biggest problem with it

I know how to play the objective well and I'm pretty good at pvp too. But these shotguns are pissing me off to the point where I just want to punch a hole through the wall, beat my Xbox with a baseball bat, beat my TV, and snap my controller in half and throw it at a wall making a hole. People used the scrubbiest crutch tactics to win because they have no primary gun skill.

1 AntwortenI somewhat agree but when I'm consistently top of the team (and yes I use a shotgun) and yet I loose 10 matches out of 12 it's kinda ridiculous. Maybe it's just because I'm going against 4-6 people in a fireteam or maybe my team sucks but I couldn't find anyone to team up with... Oh and did I mention that I've only gotten shotguns from drops that are lower than my current light. I have 6 of them now.

3 AntwortenIt isn't the objective or game mode that is cancer. Shotguns are. If a tumour could be diagnosed with cancer, it would be supremacy shotgun sliders/blinkers/skaters.

That's 7 basically guarenteed kills from the beginning of the match. I like the game mode, but I don't like how everyone just runs around with a shotgun as if it were their primary and never seem to run out of ammo for it.

5 AntwortenNah def love this mode. Had so many clutch wins. So many 2.0 k/d or above matches. Hit top leader board often. Been loving it. For those still complaining about shotty users, if you see red, and you don't have your own shotty ready, don't go around the corner!! Back off, and run the other way. Play the long game. For some stupid reason I can rarely get special, so I just completley avoid close encounters.
