Supremacy---The most rage-filled game mode
It's funny how Iron Banner used to be the campiest game mode in all of Destiny and now it's the most aggressive since it is Supremacy. Now I noticed that most people are crying out on the forums on how stupid the game mode is. My only logic is that the Iron Banner is much better than before. I enjoy this shotgun-warfare because now I know that there will be no one who will camp his butt off and not even play control properly. Just get out of this salt zone is all I'm saying... Then you'll realize that this mode is actually really fun and hectic.
[spoiler]Edit: To make this clear, I'm saying that I like this game mode a lot. The only reason this post is a thing is because I'm tiered of seeing others whine about Supremacy no matter what. It's easy, it's fun, it's very aggressive... Isn't that what we all wanted for a very long time? We were tiered of Iron Camper and people not playing Control or Clash properly and now we have something new in which people can EASILY do the objective. (lol) I'm tiered of this hatred and nerf shotgun and even fusion rifle bull crap saying "snipers r dead" when in reality they are still good as f'ck. I'm done now guys, have a good day.[/spoiler]

I think the only people "raging" are those who don't like shotguns. Meaning snipers and some scout users. This game type leaves no place for them and its not fun for that style of player.

No matter what game mode iron banner is someone will always complain. No matter what weapon is the flavour of the month... you guessed it, someone will complain.

It's heaps of fun, but whereas I can be in the top two or three in Control/Clash Iron Banner, I'm consistently in the bottom three with Supremacy. I've had a few good games, but it feels less rewarding to me personally. I like the mode, but at the same time it's disheartening to be on the bottom half of the scoreboard this time around. All that said it's still fun, and the bounties this time around are more merciful when you're consistently losing. I think we could solve the issue by either allowing more Iron Medallions to stack (so if you lose more than five matches you'll still eventually get credit for all of them) or to auto-redeem the Iron Medallions when you max out and have another loss.

Plus the weapons are some of the best I've ever used in the game. But the shot gunning is a little much I have to admit. It's the only leg most players have to stand on in supremacy.

We finally gave up for the night. Twice we had started rounds, were behind at the beginning, had turned the game around and were kicking butt.....then BLAM - back to orbit and the team was broken up. Anteater. That caused some rage.

1 AntwortenThe game mode I like, but god the lag is unbearable. Nearly 3 years of this (including apha and beta) and bungie still hasn't fixed this? At this point it's just incompetency. John Wisnerfski, Derek Carroll and co, please all quit so bungie can hire people who have brains to fix this. They are collectively the dumbest group of game developers I have ever seen.

4 AntwortenUghh its riddled with shotguns and lag. Playing iron banner this week as been more depressing than getting my dog put down! Winning like every 1 in 8 games. It's -blam!-ing disgusting and theirs absolutely fuk all you can do about it. If your team is trash then you're getting your ass handed to you no matter how hard you try. At least with control I could cap the fuking zones myself. I've tried running around just collecting crests but it doesn't work if all your retarded team is avoiding the -blam!-ing only way to score a fuking point! Lit been at rank 4 since yesterday. I've played about 20+ games and I'm still under half way on rank 4. Bungie I hope all you fukerz choke to death!

I've seen so many still try to camp in supremacy. So freaking sad seeing it attempt it and get completely rolled lol. Brings a smile to my face. I like this mode. It's a nice change in pace....literally lol.

4 AntwortenBungie , as always has found a way for me to hate them more when it comes to PVP , first by not removing the high impact high range archetype shotgun , which is the main problem and by bringing back more problems like the party crasher and Matador add a shitty Skill based matchmaking that doesnt ( and has never properly worked in p2p games ) and its just CANCER. Supremacy was a game mode to go in have fun and relieve some stress , thanks to IRON BANNER i dont want to plag this shit ever again

The only issue I have with Supremacy, especially when it will be for Iron Banner, is that my teammates generally fail to deny crests. Sometimes I will see teammates deliberately avoid them just to find an enemy to kill. I know you need to kill enemies to score, but not denying is practically saying, "hey enemies look over here, free points!" I get so aggravated because I'm constantly going after denies which leads to me getting killed and a teammate killing the enemy but just picking up the confirm and not the deny. If I face-palmed every time I saw a teammate walk/run past a blue crest I would need plastic surgery thirty times over.

I don't think it's dumb, but the matchmaking is mostly lopsided. There have maybe been 3 games out of about 20 that were close. Most of the time, a team wins by 40 or 50 crests. I'll admit I'm not a great PVP player, but I notice most of the time my team loses it's because everyone on my team is split up whereas the other team hunkers down in one spot and just destroys us. I have dragged my team down before and I even messaged the top guy on my team to apologize for it. I just don't undsrstand why they keep pitting me against Trials experts and I'm paired with people who run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Hash brown rantconcluded.

All 4 bounties done in 10 games. Rank 5 in about 20 games. Got to rank 5 on all toons by Wednesday afternoon. Sweet. Now I can go and do something else for the rest of the week. Shotguns rule.

I do like supremacy for a few games as it really can be amusing. However, I am old and my mind can't cope with the chaos for this long lol.

People who seem to have no understanding of how this mode works. 4 crest on the ground and your teammate runs right past them to chase that one low health guy? Only people who enjoy this mode are shotgun humpers who think shotguns are ok right now and swear by not ever touching their primary weapon. Not to mention I've seen plenty of people camping corners and running stealth shotgun hunter so there is no shortage from what I can tell.

I haven't seen so many "jug Rushers" since my frat boy days 😄 But seriously, lower the score limit to 125 and for the love of all that is awesome in this game, make more viable primaries or reduce shotty range

So far I'm not super hot on Supremacy as a game mode in general but Supremacy Rumble was probably the most fun and challenging pvp mode I've played in Destiny. In sixes I haven't really found any flow yet, but I'm open to it. Nice with a change overall.
