Supremacy---The most rage-filled game mode
It's funny how Iron Banner used to be the campiest game mode in all of Destiny and now it's the most aggressive since it is Supremacy. Now I noticed that most people are crying out on the forums on how stupid the game mode is. My only logic is that the Iron Banner is much better than before. I enjoy this shotgun-warfare because now I know that there will be no one who will camp his butt off and not even play control properly. Just get out of this salt zone is all I'm saying... Then you'll realize that this mode is actually really fun and hectic.
[spoiler]Edit: To make this clear, I'm saying that I like this game mode a lot. The only reason this post is a thing is because I'm tiered of seeing others whine about Supremacy no matter what. It's easy, it's fun, it's very aggressive... Isn't that what we all wanted for a very long time? We were tiered of Iron Camper and people not playing Control or Clash properly and now we have something new in which people can EASILY do the objective. (lol) I'm tiered of this hatred and nerf shotgun and even fusion rifle bull crap saying "snipers r dead" when in reality they are still good as f'ck. I'm done now guys, have a good day.[/spoiler]

I really don't see how anybody is having fun in this new meta. Primaries are still weak as -blam!- and it's simply become who can get in range first for that shotgun blast. That isn't fun to me I don't like shotguns they are so inconsistent not to mention for some reason I'm point blank and can't kill them but they are sniping me from a considerable distance. The only solution I have heard to this: Get a high impact shotgun with range perks guess what I have a conspiracy theory D with rifles barrel and range finder guess the -blam!- what still the same shit happening, oh get a matador its way better guess what I have a matador and still the same shit is happening. Oh and don't even -blam!-ing get me started on supremacy you -blam!-ers have forgotten what a -blam!-ing primary is all supremacy consists of is a bunch of -blam!- running around with shotguns -blam!- this shit I'm done this meta is total shit

1 AntwortenI can't stand this dumbass game mode, everyone on the other team gets all the god mode players who pickup crests and I'm stuck with idiots that ignore the crests. Just one more win and I'll be free of this horrible mode.

For me personaly all its done is highlight all the things that I feel are wrong with weapon balance in Destiny. Which is a shame really as I used to enjoy Destiny. I know loads of people love it and that's cool but tis not for me.

IB and PVP in general just makes me hate my fellow Guardians. I see them in strike playlists and grit my teeth at the sight of them, and find myself not wanting to revive them and often times resent myself for reviving them. Side effects of pvp I guess. Boy it'd be nice to have PVE events once a month...something thst doesn't encourage players to hate eachother.

I say we cut out the middleman and just have infinite special ammo so we can focus on what we came to do which is shotgun people.

1 AntwortenNope, it's awful. Run and gun with no skill. God help you if you look down your sights. Most the people defending supremacy have K/Ds below 1.0. It's a gametype for easy crutch kills in a game that has already based its pvp around easy crutch kills. And if your "camper" of a sniper is defending a point, or shutting down an area of acces, I'd say he's playing control correctly. At least he has to aim to get his kill, instead of just sliding and firing from the hip.

Shotgun run-and-gun is fine to a point. Maybe I'm less bothered by the mode itself and more bothered by folks not understanding how to play it? Pick up the crests kids, red [b]or[/b] blue, just pick them up!

9 AntwortenThere is a lot of camping with shotguns. Sit around a corner, kill anyone in 1 shot walking by. Acquire crest. Do it again. How have you not seen campers? Shotguns enable camping! Shotguns are so pathetic, whatever happened to good ol classic gunfights with primary weapons? So much more satisfying to outgun by 1 shot across the map than 1 shot trading with shotguns. Ps, I have caught more campers with shotguns now than before. They literally sit, wait, shotgun, profit.

4 AntwortenMy only beefs with Iron Banner is the light level advantages being turned on and the terrible matchmaking. Too many times I'm with a team of 350's vs a team full of 385's. Now that's almost a 10% advantage for armor and weapons for the other team. Which is a lot considering how evenly matched the weapons are in this game. It's freaking ridiculous.

Ironically this is the first time I've enjoyed crucible. It actually subtilely encourages teamwork and strategy. I only even tried it because I'm doing the thorn bounty, but I may even keep playing once I've finished.

I was hating supremacy at first but eventually i learned what work and what doesn't. Shotgun warriors are less of an issue if you stay together and team shoot them. Your team needs people with combo breaker supers (fist of havok, nova bomb, shadowshot, golden gun) to stop roaming supers.

Disagree. Almost all PVP playlists are painful when searching alone, but the worst has to be Salvage. If you are a good played searching alone your elo WILL match you on a team with 2 awful players, then just watch the madness unfold. Rage city.

4 AntwortenA striker titan running juggernaut and any shotgun is a little ridiculous if u ask me....especially in supremacy. I just don't think the whole juggernaut part of that is entirely fair or balanced.

There's still people camping corners crouched. I use a fusion and can kill them before they even get close enough to shoot and when people are using shotguns they seem to forget they've got a primary. So easy to walk backwards and shoot them down.

Look i had to be tried .. its not my fav game mode im a hunter and prefer precision rather than run and gun. I understand why they chose it its a new mode. Id like to see a 3v3 iron banner or free for all to mix it up.

I just don't understand how some people have no concept of hey I killed that guy. Time to run away to another area. Ummm hello moron, go grab the crest or the kill means nothing. I have been matched up the last 3 games with people who do this. I end up with more than the other teams top 2 and we still lose because people can't seem to figure out to grab the stupid crest. It's not rocket science people. Either do it or do the community a favor and stop playing

Supremacy, and year 3 in general is much faster paced. Similar to year 1 just with slower kill times. Everyone complaining about supremacy just has to realize that by its nature supremacy will always be a shotgun fest.

It's certainly faster! Games are 10 minutes and I got all three toons to level 5 in 2.5 days. It normally takes me about twice as long. It was fun but I'll be ready for Control or Clash next time.
