So I'm thinking about buying a Taurus CT9
Any other recommendations you guys might have? I'm very open minded about firearms just try to keep the price low
Edit: So although the price is a bit higher than what I initially wanted, I've decided on going with the Kel Tec RDB! Thanks for all the amazing opinion guys!

You piece together a quality AR for $600 or so. That's my preference.

Bearbeitet von Sigmar: 10/6/2016 8:34:03 PMI personally would do almost anything to get a SturmGewehr44 and FallschirmJagerGewehr42 repro(one that's worth a damn) chambered in 5.56. I wouldn't want to rechamber originals though, those can keep their factory chambering.

4 AntwortenDont bother with pistol calibers because ur better off getting a handgun if that's the case. If you want a long gun, get an M4, AR, .300 blk, etc. Id thoroughly prefer an m14 or .300 blackout.
cheap guns arent good, good guns arent cheap
1 AntwortenBuy something that chambers actual rifle ammunition. Never buy a rifle that fires pistol calibers when you could get a handgun that chambers the same round, weighs less and is less bulky. A handgun would usually be cheaper, too.

1 AntwortenPistol cartridge? Nope. Nope nope nope. Sorry. But if you're getting a rifle get one that uses rifle rounds. It's an over-sized pistol to put it bluntly.
-
5 AntwortenGo for a Mosen, those are fun!
-
I would want an M4 when I become the age required for one.
-
If your set on that type of weapon, why not go with a better company like the Beretta Cx4 Storm?
-
1 AntwortenMSRP on that is almost 900 bucks! Why not get something more practical than a 9mm rifle, like an AR chambered in 223 or 308. At least then you can use it for more than just target practice.

6 AntwortenI had no clue about this gun, so naturally I ran to Google for help... I have two issues with the rifle. First off, it's a 9mm carbine... wtf is up with that. While I'm aware they exist from other manufacturers, what a waste of carrying weight. If you're getting a rifle(carbine), you should definitely avoid pistol rounds or else go with an SMG. Obviously, there is a price point issue, but $700 for what equates to a long, cumbersome, oversized pistol seems like a poor choice. Second, it's a Taurus... while I'm aware of it's association to Baretta, they just paid a $39 million lawsuit over a critical safety issue with several models. I'm fully willing to disclose that I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to guns and I do not like polymers being used to construct major parts of fire arms and Taurus loves their plastic.

Springfield M1A National Match. Its a hell of a fun gun to shoot.
-
The Mosin-Nagant is the funnest gun to shoot IMO.
-
German made Mauser 98. Can't get any better than that
-
2 AntwortenI think they look gross. You can get an ar for about 600-700. I'd buy a nice blackpowder, or bolt rifle before I'd buy either of those
-
2 AntwortenGet an MA5B, it's a pretty cool and reliable gun.

Buy for fun, not practicality. (Strictly talking about firearms used for recreational purposes.)
-
You will trigger the liberals talking about these weapons of death like this...
-
2 AntwortenBuy any rifles made in world war two they're pretty cheap
-
1 AntwortenBe a man, and get an Anti-tank rifle. The PTRS-41 is a good choice. In all seriousness if you want a cheap bolt action go with the Mosin Nagant. I saw 3 of them for sale at a Cabelas in Montana for like 250$. That includes the bayonet too.

3 AntwortenPretty interesting gun I gotta say. I know SIGs have a pretty good resemblance if you're into it. Haven't researched them so you might not even be able to get one. What kinda style you going for? Purpose?
