So I'm trying to work on the exotic class item quest, champion of the cult, but no matter what class item, shader, and emblem combo I use nothing seems to have it register I'm doing anything. I doubt it's because this it's my second exotic class item for the character; if so the quest wouldn't show up to begin with.
