SLEEPER SIMULANT > GJALLARHORN
Last week, I completed a the raid 5 times (3 times for rewards, twice to help out friends) and EVERY RAID i went into, someone would moan at me for using sleeper simulant instead of gjallarhorn/iron gjallarhorn) People should know by now that sleeper does so much more damage than gjallarhorn, as ghorn took a big nerf before the dlc dropped.
Basically, if you have sleeper, USE IT. It's the second most damaging weapon at asksis, only losing to the cannons. To get the most damage use 3x sleepers 3x cannons, weapons of light, tether and Viking funeral. so much damage
GHORN IS NOT AS GODLY AS IT WAS IN YEAR 1

Agreed. I actually used sleeper the first go. The only thing gally really has is multiple ad clearing ability.

Don't care if it go nerfed and sleeper does more damage. Gjallarhorn is just fun to use in my opinion.

I've been using sleeper for raids since it came out, i even got yelled at once for not using the spindle during the raid (the -blam!-er didn't say anything after i out dps'd his 310 spindle with my 290 Sleeper, pre nerf of course [i mean the nerf to ammo cap]). Although so far I've only been using my G-horn cause i want to think of what could have been (i missed out on th G-horn in y1 got it when xur sold it a second time)

I use Ghallyhorn for wizards and mobs of enemies, works great for that. Sleeper for individual bosses.

The spindle is pretty good last round 15 shots at 32k no reload....

agree sleeper all the way the problem with the GH is the wolf packs often do not go off !!! the final boss is really bad for this if anything for DPS the raid rocket would maybe be the best with its reload into 4 rockets but the sleeper also for me takes out captains with ease and allows me to do damage on boss from any side bottom line though either one works and use what you have fun with :)

1 AntwortenGhorn has higher dps [b][i][u]BUT[/u][/i][/b] sleeper has much, much higher overall damage. Can carry 7(up to 9) rounds that deal extremely high damage, and as a titan with ruin wings, i get 6 rounds perk brick

You really shouldn't need either! Snipers and cannons should be more than enough with a tether and weapons of light! We did it today without any gally/sleeper and he was at about 12% health left after the 2nd round. A good team can wipe the boss regardless of the tools used.

A year ago today people was complaining saying that sleeper was trash af and Gjallerhorn was better. [spoiler]that being said gjallerhorn did get nerf but you get the complaining point [/spoiler]

Either way, once your fire team is high enough in light you'll just melt Aksis. I think we averaged 370 yesterday - so not [i]that [/i]high - and still took him down a good 60 % in two cycles. We had several swords so relied on cannons and a few gallys.

Or you could just use whatever you want and nobody should complain... Do you have a sniper, or gjally, or sleeper, then you're fine. All the tests are basically for just one weapon so if you're getting consistent results shooting everything you have before reloading, go with that load out.
