What am I missing?
I've been playing the hell out of crucible, and the only reason I am 347ish light is the fact I had enough marks to buy 350 gear...everything I get is 340..and am stuck at the bannerfall mission to get the gjallahorn so doubt I'll be able to bump my light any there.....I'm just really lost as to why I can't get anything new, ideas or advice?

I average 2 light bump every day,playing PvP. But I did the story mode first,finished the auto and gjally quest and I farm PvP for lengendaries but mostly exotics. If you dont do any strikes,you wont level up fast mate. PS: You've played a total of: 16 h on story mode 9 h on PvP 6 h on strikes. You are not missing anything.You need to play more.

You're just going to have to plod through Strikes my friend. It's the real grind. Once you hit the 365 cap, start popping faction packages, exotic engrams and skeleton keys.

Do the harder strikes. Get rank up packages. CoE drops higher levels, crucible can drop higher light, use three of coins to get exotics.

Banner fall was easy did it on my Voidwalker, when enemies are all around you move to the back and snip the shanks, once everything is cleared stay behind the bomb and kill the Kamikaze shanks first, the remaining enemies will camp a spot use a rocket launcher to clear them out.

Bannerfall isn't actually that hard. First bomb - stay in the middle and shoot explosive shanks. I think it's right,left,middle. Second bomb- you can actually cheese it. Just run in circles underneath the bridge. Worked for me. Boss at the end is pretty easy. Good luck guardian.

Blues from the crucible and engrams are capped at 340. Any legendaries u get from the crucible should be at or above your overall light. Any exotics from three of coins will also be at or above your light. Legendary engrams cap at 365. I would suggest focusing on heroic strikes and ranking factions. Each boss will drop 2 or 3 blues that will be at or above your light up to 365. This will include ghosts. Keep equipping the highest gear u get to drop and repeat. U can infuse if u have certain gear u really like but generally just equip the new stuff until 365. Otherwise u burn through materials and marks very quickly. The skeleton key chests will also do u good as they have a chance to give u an artifact. The chest rewards will be at or above your light and can go up to max light. Rank packages are also a fantastic way to go. They give items at or above your light up to max. These are one of the few places to get ghosts above 365 though they are rare.

That's a little surprising to hear. I'm by no means a destiny expert as I've only been playing it for 2 weeks. That said, I played the ROI storyline and Siva Strike playlists in addition to the Archons Forge in the Plaugelands. I'm 366 light inside of a week and I don't invest that much time in it. That said I spent the weekend on the new raid and eventually completed it late yesterday afternoon. Change your plan of attack. Its not terribly difficult to get above 360

To level up to 365 I just played the Sepiks Perfected strike repeatedly (320 level selected from Earth map). It's quick and easy and you'll get 2 higher level blues at the end (up to 365). Other than that remember to do the daily public event for thr marks and legendary engram.

Play the weekly heroic strikes. They will drop up to 5 LL higher than what you are at the time of the drop. Inspect those drops and equip anything higher than what you have. Don't worry about infusing until you get to a higher light.

3 AntwortenI have a few friends that work nights as well. We usually play in the morning, like 7 am Central time. If you want help or to play crucible feel free to add me. My friends and I do swear and like to pick on each other, just a warning.

6 AntwortenDo heroic strikes and the blues you get for killing the boss will be at it light level or 1-2 above. Doing this will get you a light level or two every day depending on how much you play. Cap for this is 365 after that it's raid and trials.
