Really? Old gear from the ToO Bounties?
Really Bungie? Just gonna leave the old gear in the bounty for ToO?
all I ended up getting from the gold tier was a 366 artifact....
That is just lame.... Give us casual PvP players a chance for the new cool gear

I'm assuming your going to say something to the effect of "I don't stand a chance at going /getting 5wins/ flawless". My response is: then in your case, the pariah gear is the "cool new gear". You have two options work at improving or be content with what you have.

I think diversity is a good thing. Maybe people don't want to be a bug/snake/cat man/woman. Maybe they prefer to live on the bird/dog/mummycyclops man/woman side of things.

Some are saying the gold tiers gave them new stuff, others are saying old stuff. Is it possibly a mix of both? As in, I could get a Y2 weapon or Y3 weapon?

I think it is great that old Trials gear is dropping from end-game rewards as it gives people a chance to complete their sets and the old gear honestly looks pretty good. I don't, however, like the fact that the Gold Tier bounties are dropping Pariah gear, which required you to go flawless prior to RoI to obtain. Pariah gear was made to look exactly like the regular Trials gear with a shader so it was just another small way to show you made it to the Lighthouse when someone inspects you without having the emblem on. Now, unfortunately, our Pariah gear has no meaning as people will think we just got it from the bounties.

I got the old helmet at 5 wins, and the old bond from the gold tier. At 7 wins I got the auto rifle, the new one. It sucks.

18 AntwortenPretty sure that some dedicated PvP'er already posted that ToO is their raid so that only those beating this "PvP raid" should get the gear. That is a stupid -blam!-ing argument because there are so many more moving parts in PvP, not everyone will play the same thing - some teams will get easy matches while others will have bad luck, PvE is a way more laid back expereince and doesnt include the same stress. Just look at reward packages, a PvP'er can breeze through a strike every now and then just to build VG rep but if you're not into PvP you're probably not going to grind Crucible in the same way. The point is, it's way more likely that a PvP'er does a bit of PvE than the other way around so it's stupid to put exclusive stuff behind PvP-walls.

14 AntwortenThe thing I don't get is why you can go flawless how ever many times you can win, while if you want to run end game pve content your only allowed to run through the raid once on each difficulty on each character. So why are the pvp gods allowed to run rough shot in trials all weekend long. Each character should only be allowed to go flawless once each week. At least then a few more people would be able to see the lighthouse. I mean I've been trying to get flawless for literally years and the only reason I've even seen Mars is the new maps...

I got pariah boots, new gauntlets a auto rifle, and a doctrine of passing. That was all from 2 runs, 1 flawless and 1 up to 7 wins. And yesterday I got the new cat cloak from getting 5 wins. Looks great with the flawless ornament.
