Some games used to have partnerships with websites that allowed for selling in game items, characters or accounts. EQ2 had a server set aside for this and it worked really well. I sold two characters, one for about 450.00 and the other for about 250.00 usd. Granted that was years ago when epic MMO games were far more popular. That being said... it was a controlled and company agreed upon situation. The link in OP is a recipe for failure.

It's interesting that they're structured as an LLC. Outbreak Prime took around 6 hours for me to complete, and I'm sure I'm on the long side of that finish time because of equalizing node complications. As an mmo player that's seen a bunch of stuff like this, $350 is a bit steep.
