Aksis? Nah. Rasputin should have been the final boss. We have seen his place, how it's been broken into countless of times and heard of his "underground" secrets. Imagine Rasputin being transfused with SIVA in the last section of the raid, right before our eyes, and that's who we had to fight! The possibilities for his attacks, looks and whatnot are endless!
EDIT:
Nostalgia would have also been present, the last boss being an old friend and ballet fan. Better than just a random archon priest imo

3 AntwortenWhich makes no sense since Rasputin was trying to keep SIVA from being released.
-
2 AntwortenBut, what if Rasputin is the final boss? What if everything we've fought so far has been Rasputin's doing? We already know he controls Siva, so technically this whole expansion is us fighting against him.
We just don't know it yet
-
We will fight him, And we will have to take him out. Rasputin attacked the traveler. Rasputin is the reason all of this is happening. I read on here somewhere that he sent SIVA into deep space to colonize and spread. He doesn't care about the light and he doesn't trust guardians. Every time we have a mission where we have to go into one of Rasputin bunkers, he tries to kill us. He's way past a war mind designed to protect the earth in my opinion. Let's take the son of a bitch to town. Everyone have heavy synths ? Gally's out !
-
He has a bigger part in this than meets the eye.
-
3 AntwortenI'm glad he wasn't. Don't want to see Rasputin go so quickly yet. Saladin even mentioned his form was almost physical and hasn't been a Warmind for years. I don't think his time is up yet.
-
Doubt it's really over. Plenty of small things missing. Maybe a time gate.
-
Rasputin will probably be a main antagonist in destiny 2. Seems like that's how they've setup the story.
-
I don't know Rasputin has done bad things like slaughter the Guardian team that tried making contact with him and killing all the Iron Lords, but all the things he's done can be traced to blocking off power that is way out of our control. We don't know what the old humans did during the golden age or right after the collapse maybe Rasputin trusted some humans for a little bit and they went crazy with power and he doesn't trust anyone anymore. Just a thought.
-
2 AntwortenI don't believe Rasputin is straight up bad....he's more of the chaotic-neutral type.
-
1 AntwortenI don't trust Rasputin. I only trust myself and my fireteam... and my ghost too. When I meet whatever Rasputin is, I'll decide for myself if I can trust him. He seems a little shady right now.

The raid is Rasputin
-
1 AntwortenRasputan = Impossible raid Why? Falling warsat
-
2 AntwortenIt would be pretty epic if he was playing some dramatic ballroom music. That would be an interesting fight
-
Well, it seems like Rasputin was vital to the dlc, and for the backstory, he was. However, we haven't had direct contact with him at all this dlc. It's evident Rasputin lost control of SIVA and the bunker, so as of now, the only thing that might have changed is if he knew SIVA was out, which I'm sure he does.
-
I really wanted this too but I couldn't think of any way it could work. SIVA doesn't have intelligence, it's just a tool to be directed. There's no way for it to "corrupt" Rasputin, the only being who has proper authority over it.
-
9 AntwortenLots of talking about Rasputin and how he is/will fit into the story. If you guys didn't read about the concept art or the "speculated" original story, here is a picture of Rasputin, or would have been. I think we are going to see a lot of this story unfold in destiny 2 and hope that we will meet Rasputin in Exo form.
-
2 AntwortenProbably saving Rasputin for destiny 2 or 3.
-
Pretty sure rasputin could literally obliterate us
-
All in due time Rasputin will play a role someday
-
1 AntwortenFor real. This raid screams rasputin. Btw it's a pretty shitty raid
-
The fight could of been with a Splicer Archon Prime who was the host of Rasputin's mind, at the end of the fight all the lights could of gone dark again and a second stage would start where the prime was strengthened by even more Siva after Rasputin left its robotic brain.
-
1 Antwortendid you catch what Saladin was saying about Rasputin, I'm pretty sure he was saying that he released SIVA himself so that it could go and kill the guardians, he probably has a reason he wants us dead, maybe SIVA infected him somehow and made him against guardians
-
I have a feeling there's still more to come
-
I mean, going off of saladin. There were hundreds of iron lords that went to attack siva while it was under rasputins control. .. Like 8 of them made it in to the replication chamber. If rasputin still controlled siva, we would not have made it very far. Furthermore he would not have allowed the hive in.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Insatiable: 9/27/2016 7:08:21 PMHe is a Warmind. Much smarter than guardians. You really think it would have made sense to make it through his lair if he was in control ?

Maybe upgrade to sleeper?
