Please For the love Of GOD stop with the Green Engrams
Ever since the update before Rise Of Iron that prepared the loot system or whatever these things have been dropping waaay too much even when having a higher light. This was never a problem back In Year 1 or Taken King seeing as they stopped dropping around when you started getting high level blues and your light started getting higher. It's much [u]worse[/u] now. While watching people do Wrath of the Machine, a lot of the folks were 375+ or 384 and you would see littered all over their screen Green engrams everywhere which makes absolutely no sense for people with that high of light. Hell, they should stop dropping around 300 light, not persistently stay there and clutter your inventory.
Now of course there are going to be people saying "Oh but it's free weapon parts and Armor/Armour material. You don't want free stuff?" Oh please, people have plenty of Armor materials (especially since you can buy them now) so the whole "Free stuff" excuse doesn't work. Plus, just because it's free stuff doesn't make it none of the less annoying.
[spoiler]Don't lie. You've used a 3 of Coins on an Ultra before and when killed, you see a bright engram thinking it's an exotic when it's actually a green.[/spoiler]

13 AntwortenFree weapon/armour parts every minute or so! Just take a couple seconds to dismantle those green engrams! "This is obviously bullshit and a terrible idea because even though we get free materials, it's still terrible because we actually have to delete them. Why should I delete them?" You're kidding me. How is this a bad thing?

I have under 100 of both armor and weapon parts so ill keep the green engrams

I'll take all the extra materials and glimmer. I've usually got them all deleted before the reward screen ends for strikes so its not a big deal.

I use my ghost for spinmetal drops with engrams, works with green as well, just extra materials for the grind, I don't see the big deal. I like this move, helps in the long run.

It almost seems like all the greens have screwed with the loot system now as far as getting exotics. Because I've had that happen too much now where something drops a green instead of a exotic.

Saying it's free materials isn't an excuse. It's quite true. Regardless of how many people have, it can be nice to always get more. In Y1 they continued to drop even if you were max level. They stopped that after Y2. Notice what they had to add because of it? Purchasable materials because people were running so low that it was all over the forums. No one complained about the greens in Y1. In fact, we appreciated the extra materials. It's nice to have them back.

I was like that also until I ranked up my faction with nothing but armor and weapon parts.

The green engrams are a serious buzz kill because you have to bail on something like the archons forge when you have a huge group just to check your postmaster so you dont lose any legendaries

Sounds like you never level up guns to try them out or anything...

I just wished they dropped a little less often so I can do more than 3 strikes in a row.

My raid party had to stop raiding and go to the tower after the second battle since we were all full on green engrams when we got our rewards (so it went to the post master).

Remember the great weapons parts and armor mats shortage??? This is why they need to keep greens. And yes I know you could buy them, but why when they are free.
