Raid's been out LESS than 24 hrs. people are already asking that "you know how to do it". These people are ridiculous and have lead the majority of the community into a hole.
Rather sad.

My first run, I only had a vague idea of how to do anything, but had no issues. Honestly, Wrath is mich more simple and straightforward than KF. Anyone demanding that others know what to do is just being lazy. Key points for newbs - Communicate well - Get you Light Level to 350+ (higher is better, but 350 is manageable) - Stay on task (more or less, just don't be lazy and expect a carry) That's pretty much it. Sure, certain gear makes life easier, but so many people have Gjallarhorn now that as long as everyone is doing some DPS when it is needed it isn't an issue. Hard mode however, that wil be a completely different story....

The funny thing is most of the guys asking for all these crutches are usually terrible

2 AntwortenOne of the reasons I stopped raiding unfortunately, it started back with skolas, no gjally no invite, then TTK same story no exp after first week and no invite, rather sad idd

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Squidwood4513: 9/25/2016 7:45:19 PMRaid isn't even 370 it's recommended 370 Old raids you could do way under leveled like 30 light levels below
-
Once I hit around 360,ill be making groups for first time runs bc I fully expect it for the next month or two. I have 0 expectations of beating this my first run in. My only requirements will be a mic, light around 350, and not be a total idiot who makes the same mistake 20 times.
-
It's because you tube and other things similar that give people access to content before they play
-
That's what happens when you gotta use third party tools to access part of the game. So foolish it's not built in.
-
The level requirement is BS. You can pretty much be 350+ up to Aksis. Then 360+ at Aksis. Some people get to a checkpoint then get stuck for 2 hours at it. At that point, you just want to get a group that knows how to beat it and get it done. This raid is less skill-based (all you have to be able to do is jump) and way more communication based; so, it's extremely frustrating to get someone from lfg that barely talks or can't communicate what's going on. Just find a fresh raid group that's going blind, watch YouTube until you understand everything then lie, or find a group that doesn't have an experience requirement.
-
this is what i saw on lfg when the raid went live friday: 1. MUST be 367+ and MUST have gjallarhorn 2. MUST be 370+ 3. MUST be 375+ and MUST know what to do 4. MUST be 380+, MUST have gjallarhorn, MUST know every raid mechanic it's pretty much this shit all over again like back with VoG. the raid was only out for 15 minutes, and posts like those 4 were all over lfg.
-
I mean how do you think they know how to do it already ? They don't have powers, they just watch it on Youtube so they are not the dumb of the raid group that is not informed

29 AntwortenBearbeitet von aMcConghie16: 9/25/2016 7:33:19 PMWill I be able to run it at 355? Edit: thanks guardians for all your help I love raiding it's my favorite part of this game. I'm going to going some strikes now in my Titan see if I can at least get to 360 light.
-
Im on the same page as you man. Like wtf is wrong with these people. You can watch a videos all you want but until someone actually attempts to try the raid theyre not going to know. Better the MF community and teach ppl. End rant.

Need 2 for Siva Crisis strikes in Xbox Gt= Muglitak Light 345+
-
Someone already 3 manned it

7 AntwortenI mean how hard is it to watch a 15 minute YouTube video on the encounters?
-
Hundreds of videos explaining how it's done. If you want to go in blind, get your own team and make that your requirement. How come no one ever tries to make their own group? It seems like everyone bitching about other player requirements never even try to lead, lol. If you're going to use a site that will help you play with other people you don't know, expect bullshit. But if you can't match with a group, make your own damn team, lol.
-
There are a plethora of videos explaining what to do in the raid, and at this point, most people already know how to do it. If you want to do it blind, get a group to do it blind and figure it out yourself

155 AntwortenBearbeitet von GTQ: 9/25/2016 3:41:09 PMOdds are if you haven't beaten it yet then you are a casual player. A lot of the hardcore players that have would rather play with other people that have. Do you blame them?
-
8 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kornby: 9/25/2016 5:52:57 PMThere are 100s of videos out there on the mechanics. I do not see the problem. Spend some time to learn the raid or find people who want to do it blind. Or get your light level at 375ish and people will raid with you even without experience.

5 AntwortenHaven't signed in to play in a year or almost a year, hovered over the purchase button for roi and read this post while perusing reviews. You helped tremendously in my decision lol I can uninstall this app and destiny once again. Til maybe next time people.
-
Yeah they say only enter if leveled the. You spend hours trying to level. Hours and nothing to show for it.

3 AntwortenI havent beaten the whole thing yet. Im 369 light so I might be able to now? I helped a twitch streamer form a group and beat that first major boss but after that the group wasnt high enough light to build the machine. I have not beaten it but do I know how to do it? Yes I watch videos/streams because when I go in I don't wanna run around for 5 hours because some people didn't wanna learn ahead of time. Its perfectly within the rights of the party creator to set limits on who joins HIS party. Not really sure what the big deal is.
-
Or it's because we don't wanna waste time with people who don't know how to do it. Sorry that we want it to be easy and quicker
-
Just create your own group
-
8 AntwortenCreate. Your. Own. Group. Everyone has recommendations for their own fireteam. God forbid some people just want to get it done quicker ? How do you know these people don't just want to get the raid over with and then sherpa after they have their 3 done ?
