If you are under 340 light...
Please don't play the heroic strike playlist and expect to be carried.
I have just been through 3 strikes where I have been paired with two 334 and 337 players who treat the strike like an early year 2 heroic and just run in to the middle screaming Leroy Jenkins only to get destroyed and send me hate mail for not coming to revive them.
So if you are under 340, don't play the heroic strike playlist. You aren't ready.

10 AntwortenWTH?!?!?! I 2 manned a strike yesterday at 339 light. The other guy was 341. 2 players, 339 and 341 light, 2 manning a 350 heroic strike. After checking your pve kdr I see why you need them above 340.......git gud scrub, you're a joke and so is anyone else that needs 340 light for a heroic strike

I did one at about 345 or something like that. Got an Imago Loop out of the strike chest. I didn't care if anyone was mad, I was too busy shouting "look at this you peasants" whilst doing the most stupid dance I had on me.

3 AntwortenThere was a 343 and 347 and they were useless. No arc sniper on for the boss and the wrong flavour weapons. I gave it one shot and left I can't do everything nor do I want to.

I agree with this. I did the Playlist with a friend at 340 I think, and me at 353. We got a 330 who kept getting in the way, kept pushing me out of cover so that he should [i]try[/i] to shoot something (and end up dying). I sent him a message to stay back so that I could do the work and he stopped what he was doing for a few minutes, even FoH a large group of Thrall that had taken out my friend and i, but went right back to being full retard after.

I did it at around 330, not very much trouble at all. As long as you at least contribute I think it's fine.

I had a 340 guy want to do a nightfall. He got carried to the boss. Then we kept having issues with killing the shanks while being one man down with the ogre moving at super speed.

1 AntwortenI guess nobody here played Halo 2 on Legendary Solo? Where every peak around a corner could mean an instant wipe. That's how these feel below 340 and it is -blam!-ing sweet.

Its hard to think that before rise of iron they were 335, because they were both around 337. They were jumping up right next to the spider tank with sidearms, letting shanks explode in their faces, and they were using golden gun and a defender, but his defender wasn't leveled up AT ALL.

Select the new sepiks strike in the directory and set it to 320, you will get at least two blues that are higher than what you already have. Wait until at least 345 to join heroics.

Agreed when i did those at 336 it was brutal but higher you go the better also make sure your recovery is up as many use agility to sacrifice shields

I thought it matched similar light levels.

For me a lot of them rage quit because I can't revive them whilst I'm getting shot at from 15 different direction

the match making for strikes is based on your light level. i really doubt you were matched with people with that much of a light difference. Unless they lowered their light on purpose.

1 AntwortenI'll go in at whatever light level, but I have the sense to stay back and take cover whenever possible. Starting with Defender Titan (my main), that gives me a little bit of leeway, but not much. I'm around 350 now, so I'm coming along!

1 AntwortenOP is correct. I tried a heroic at 146 a couple days ago and bailed when I realized dregs could one shot me. Arc burn sucks when you're under leveled. Since I hit 150+ they are fairly easy. I now bail when I'm paired with someone under 150 because all I do is revive them.
