Nope. But I appreciate the sentiment. I enjoyed the ghorn quest and the main story from ROI much more. It's funny. Even TTK's story as good as it was didn't really make me sit back and take it all in. After slapping oryx down in story I was like...cool. Where is my exotic sword? Compared to Rise of iron where I really felt for saladin and the final mission was horrifying, sad but spectacular all at the same time. and they said that the ghost "hams it up" more in this one. I felt like TTK was more about the good ribbing and RoI was more about an emotional tale. Just me though. I wasn't sold on nolanbot until I heard him say variks "they are dead you are not" line in archons forge.

No? The new ghost lines range from an awkward attempt at humor to some of the cringiest lines I've ever heard. This expansion really made me hate my ghost, but otherwise I like where the game is heading.

Bearbeitet von Negan: 9/23/2016 3:33:45 PMI dont mind nostalgia but i felt no nostalgia at all during this scene if bungie had kept dinklebot for the whole game then yes i wouldve felt nostalgic during this scene One nostalgia moment for me ocurred in the mass effect trilogy ( which i was replaying a few week before ROI launched ) It was during the citadel dlc at the part where you have the party i had everyone at the party i remember talking to all the guests like wrex, garrus and tali and thinking of all the adventures we had shared together throughout the trilogy and then i remember that shìtty ending

1 AntwortenIt was a nice moment. More often than not, "Ghost" is just a tool to open doors, scan things and deliver 'colour' flavoured exposition. It's nice seeing the acknowledgment of a personal relationship between my Guardian and her Ghost.

I don't like how the ghost always talks for me. I hope in destiny 2 we aren't silent like we have been in the dlcs.

9 AntwortenRoI has been written by pussies with their heads up the *bleep* of some "historian love novel" crap.. its WAY to emotional ,way to much Heroism and that kind of "romance" you find in those cheap 50 cts love novels you find at walmart cash registers.. -.- i would have appreciated it when ther would have been a lot more sidequests about the origin of SIVA, and how the first guardians came across it and how they got the horrible stupid notion that they might be able to handle this.. and why SIVA has turned against them, and why SIVA seesm to have a conciousness.. (probably some lab guy did the first mistake and implemented a "you have to protect you at all costs" directive.. ) story in RoI.. NOT GOOD.. (but at least its there.. but too cartoonish HE-man like )

1 AntwortenNo he's just so magoo, he reminds me of c3po...it was jarring to hear saladins demeanour mixed with his in this expansion. Imo they've failed to make any meaningful connection between the player and ghost.

That's why I love the new ghost voice so much more. He is more of a friend than a companion.I actually enjoy having him around rather than simply calling him out when I need a door opened.
