Like it says in the title there are Rise of Iron spoilers ahead so if you haven't finished the campaign go and finish it then comeback.
Ok now that's out of the away oh my god! I can't believe that we got to fight a SIVA infected Jolder and two other Infected Iron Lords. I just want to say that's so cool that we got to fight former Iron Lords. Also I'd like to know who the other two Iron Lords were, if you know let me know.
(I think one of them was Lord Felwinter.)

I've added spoiler tags to the post since the Rise of Iron story is still new to some. Feel free to PM myself, or another Ninja if you have questions.

40 AntwortenAs soon as I saw the remenant of Felwinter appear. I went into a blind rage and attacked him yelling, "THIS IS FOR A YEARS WORTH OF PAIN CAUSED BY YOUR STUPID OP SHOTGUN!"

2 AntwortenAll's I could think about as I ran from the self-detonating room was the last bit in Halo c.e.
-
45 AntwortenThat was possibly the most horrific thing I've seen in Destiny. The idea of their desiccated corpses hanging there, only to be used by SIVA
-
5 AntwortenRight before the first siva lord goes up into the air there's a faint voice yelling something, what are they saying?
-
Pretty sure each one was a grotesque amalgam of several iron lords. Most likely with the strongest mind taking the forefront.

I was baked, so I thought way too much into it... lol...
But consider that Jolder seemingly screams something at the beginning, possibly willingly droping the axe for you. That last vestige of free will implies that all of them have remained there, somewhat alive, somewhat aware of where they were. For centuries. Hanging, being devoured and rebuilt... feeling... every... bit. Hundreds of years... At one point, Saladin calls things "familiar"... he could feel them, inside the tendrils of SIVA... its all just so -blam!-ed up, really.
5 AntwortenRight when I came in and saw the legs dangling i froze. I looked over to my girl and said " you wanna witness this ? Because it's going to get nasty " and she legit went into the other room. If you listen really closely, she says something. " no don't do it " or something like that. Man tears, lots. We had to kill Sladadin's woman. .... ...... and it was glorious.

16 AntwortenSo as my fireteam entered the hallway leading to the production chamber for the first time, we were all talking about what we'd have to fight. We all thought it was a giant robot, or an archon or something. I was less worried about what we were going to be fighting, and more interested in what the chamber was going to look like. "How much do you wanna bet we're gonna find some messed up stuff in there?" I asked, "Like, mutated dead bodies hanging from the ceiling and stuff?" As we walked through the door, and the ghost told us about the infected Iron Lords, everyone went silent. All we could do was struggle to stay alive (low light levels and all), and once it was over, and we had finished running out of the exploding chamber, we all just kind of sat there silently for a moment, until one of the others with me broke the silence. "Well that was dark," he said, "I didn't expect Bungie to go there." We all agreed. Was it awesome? Of course it was! But honestly, with Destiny being rated T and all, none of us ever suspected that Bungie could pull something off like that. Kind of makes you wonder what's waiting for us in "Destiny 2", or whatever they're calling the next release.

5 AntwortenI am wondering if players might be infected as well. Now that they have ai programming for player-like characters, what if a siva cloud attacks you can randomly makes one player lose control of their avatar and start attacking their fireteam for a while? Or maybe the player does not lose complete control, being able to resist a little by pulling the reticle away from their friends, etc. would make picking your fireteam's loadout more interesting. Are you POSITIVE you want everyone using gjallarhorns for this section lol ;)

4 AntwortenI was a little more concerned as to why saladins battle axe was on the wrong side of the door.
-
The moment I walked in and saw those bodies hanging from the ceiling I was like "oh boy... ohhhhh boy this is not good"
-
I was focused on not dying

Personally I liked the dark vibs it had, Its about time destiny started to be more like its lore. Seriously this game needs to be rated M and be as viloent and ominously horrifc as its lore implies things are in thos cards. Also I seriously want to hear Cade-6 drop the F bomb in some hilarious way that only he could pull off. (Also, no. Keep skimpy armor out. It wouldnt fit destiny.

1 AntwortenWho was the titan that got obliterated by SIVA in the cinematic when Jolder ran for the door?

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lord Fried: 9/21/2016 2:19:07 PMThat last mission gave me the chills. The level design, the music and when I saw the bodies hanging I was like "Noooo!!"...it really gave me the feels. Especially seeing Jolder's armor all SIVA'd up and knowing that was Saladin's babe, I felt bad. Running out with the axe at the end, while stuff was blowing up made me feel like a badass though.

16 AntwortenBearbeitet von A 7th Spectrum: 9/21/2016 3:56:28 PMI loved the part when you were running away from the explosion. Throw in the music and you feel like a bad ass

7 AntwortenIt felt like fighting the flood for the first time back in CE. Creepy as hell.
-
9 AntwortenPeed my pants a little when I saw their legs hanging from the ceiling...
-
9 AntwortenWhen the door opened up, I immediately saw Jolder being held up by the SIVA and thought "Oh hell no. That is some f-cked up shit right there."
-
7 AntwortenHonestly one of the greatest fights if not the best boss fight in destiny, the music was epic!! That's what I want to see from a campaign.

22 AntwortenAn ancient god can't take guardians, but a virus can?
-
15 AntwortenMy heart genuinely dropped when the ghost pointed out the hanging things.
I looked up and noticed the Axe and then the bodies and I just sat there for a moment legitimately shocked and saddened. Destiny actually managed to hit me in the feels.

Manly tears were shed in that instant.
3 AntwortenVery rarely does a game make me feel real dread when playing this was one of hose moments I actually was looking down for their bodies when my ghost brought up "The DNA it's human...." (or something like that.) and my heart sank seeing the bodies just hanging there.
-
12 AntwortenI want to know why exactly they were so damn huge.
-
4 AntwortenDoes anyone else notice what Jolder yells when SIVA teleports her as a boss in the final fight? Something like "No, I had to!" or "I'm trying to help you?" Very interesting.
