Pre-rant: This is my opinion, just looking to see the general consensus on this, since logic (mine anyways) dictates my opinion is the correct opinion. Also, kinda rant, kinda not.
So, I heard that there are now Claymores and impact grenades. Cool, right? Wrong. The Attackers get the claymores and defenders the impact grenades.
Why the actual -blam!- would an attacker need claymores? Claymores are for defending territory, not for someone to throw and be like "hey guys, can you walk into the lasers coming from that? Thanks."
And impact grenades on defenders? "Here, let me just chuck this out and hope it hits an attacker, theres gotta be one camping around here somewhere." Wrong.
Impact grenades would make a lot more sense on attackers, since defenders are the actual ones who camp. Getting one into a wall next to a camper would be a lot more useful, or opening up barricades, walls or sight lines for removing enemies, or escaping with the hostage seems to me like a lot better use of them than the prestated. Thanks again guys.

The claymore are for attackers to use to help fend off roamers (which like every defender does now). The impact grenades are good because it gives a way for castle/doc to deal with Blackbeard and shield users. The grenades can be good to keep Blackbeard from peaking a window

Claymore are used to defend yourself from roamer a impact grenades where to make a hole in a wall quick idk how good it is at killing people

I'm okay with it, I wish they'd focus on the servers though Having two disconnects during pro play live stream should be a hint

Claymores are built to counter offensive roaming defenders like Caveira (op), Valkyrie, Pulse, and a couple more. Impact grenades for attackers would be dumb and make killing defenders way too easy, while giving them to defenders allow them to throw through hall ways quickly to counter peeking offense characters, like Blackbeard. If these gadgets were the other way around, that would be preeeettty dumb.

I like what they did, what brings me back to this game is constant innovation and just doing things that you wouldn't expect, I never expected claymores to be on the attacking team, but it makes sense to me, at this point the defending meta revolves entirely around roaming, this will help nullify that.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von JOKERMAN: 9/16/2016 1:35:28 PMDefenders are LITERALLY BUILT TO DEFEND! Why do the need more to do that? Impact grenades are AMAZING to say the least. Shield guys are screwed worse than c4 now, you dont have to throw it behind and risk getting killed in the process. Claymores are meant to keep the defenders near the objective. Last night i was scouting out the house with my drone so i put a clamore behind me. I figured since i was so far out no one one risk jumping out a window for a kill. Guy jumped out and got himself killed with a claymore. That butthole shouldnt have been outside and he will think twice about doing it again. Over all i the ubi did a wonderful job of breathing new life in to this game with this patch. Adapt or die

2 AntwortenThey gave the claymores to attackers to help with the constant fact of people roaming and coming from behind mowing a team down. They gave impact nades to defenders so they could easily break walls if wanted to check for attackers and or make murder holes
