To everyone who said saving engrams is a waste of time.
It's now been confirmed that current engrams will carry over into the new loot pool and even blues will decrypt over 335.
I saved 30+ exotic engrams, a bunch of Legendary engrams, and now I might even grind some strikes for blue engrams to save.
Looks like us engram horders didn't waste our time after all. Good luck getting ready for the new raid on Friday and I hope you enjoyed getting the same exotic over and over when you decrypted all of yours early.

I got a decent amount of exotics, wish i could have gotten more but i got a ton of legendaries

most i saved is 2-3 full armor set emgrams, 2 snipers, 2 autos, 4 heavies, and like 8 exotics. i'm good with that whatever else i miss imma just buy it from the vendors to be a basic 335+ light. All you gonna do by saving so much is burn thru the rank right away

I'm hoping it's true because I have a vault full of engrams BUT nothing is definite. The guy was playing on a test build and it was just a Reddit post.

I used to do stuff like that. Edge all the factions, make sure I'm maxed on all marks, etc. I'm not going to this time around. I'm going to enjoy the new content at a slower pace in attempt to extend the longevity of the game for me.

How could it be a waste of time? It takes almost no time at all to store them in the vault...if those few seconds are that valuable to anyone then that's quite a serious problem lol

God knows I'll get the exotic Warlock boots if they come out. Thanks to playing a Warlock and receiving 20+ boot engrams. Lol

I'm right there with ya. Around 1000 L.marks total and 15+ engrams not to mention all the legendaries. Blind raid is the best.

I have not a single spot left on any character or my vault ... post master is filling up too !!!! I'm ready .. but I won't be trading them in till I finish rhe story mode to get the most out of them in way of light level
