Initial Thoughts on Private Matches?
In case you haven't logged in or heard the news, Private Matches went live today. We wanted to see what everyone's initial thoughts were.
What do you like?
What do you think needs improvement?
What cool Gametypes have you been thinking up?

It's early, but we wanted to give you a good place to share your feedback. We have been really excited to see everyone finally get their hands on Private Matches. 1 AntwortenIt took 2 years for private matches. 1 year for you to at least acknowledge the problem dealing with faction ships, maybe a few years from now, these ghost bullets ( that you keep telling handcannon users aren't real) will be dealt with. Maybe we'll find the answer to why a point blank shotgun blast to someone's chest randomly does less damage than an uncharged melee. While we're playing around with crucible matchmaking, after switching back and forth between SBMM and CBMM, we can figure out how to separate the millions of solo players into different games from full fireteams. Maybe the next time you improve crucible drops, crucible drops will improve. Maybe the next few exotic engrams I decrypt will be for the class I'm playing as. Heck, maybe one of those said exotics will be for the class I'm playing as. Maybe Bungie will stop banning people for calling out cheaters, and start banning the cheaters. Maybe by the time we hit that ten year mark, the community managers will be allowed to manage the community, rather than be glorified tv pitchmen. "HI, Billy Mayes here, to tell you about the awesome power of Three of Coins! They work so good, they're bound to get nerfed!" Maybe by the time players reach the end of the journey, the game will resemble what we thought we were buying in Year 1. RoI and the head scratching steps back the game has taken since its release have turned me from a patient fan to an absolute hater. The forums are ablaze with similar posts, voicing many of the same frustrations I've recorded here. "But hey guys, how's that new game mode we ignored you begging for until we decided to present it like it was our idea?"

Do ability cool down modifiers, or weapon restrictions, or infinite ammo. More options, please! Right now, it's just great.

1 AntwortenHow about you stop giving me old ass exotics. How about you increase the drop rate for exotics that players don't already have. 30 engrams and not 1 new exotic. I understand that you guys are too lazy to come up with enough content to keep your player base busy so you depend on players chasing 1 exotic for months but enough is enough. Btw, thanks for charging me 30 dollars for a reskinned vanilla destiny.

no thoughs on that. but on a diffrent note can we please create a patch that removes all these small cracks that a player can get in but not get out of. i dont know how many times i have gone into a match or strike and wile jumping from enimy have jumped into a crack that i cant jump back out if thus making me have to go to orbit and restart all over again

Hey Cozmo can u find a spot in the next hotfix for the new flawless emblems? Once flawless you can't grab duplicates from the emblem kiosk at the tower for other characters... Cheers :)

Can only one plz tell me,that if u have done all the monitors up to the phase1 of the final boss then leave,would then have to do all over again or can u carry on from that last cp???? Cheers guys

3 AntwortenLiterally pointless addition. Also y'all did this in Halo and yet now you choose to do this. You may not have Halo title rights but don't forget the stuff you pioneered. It's yours so do it.

Private matches are what this game needed from day 1, so yes 100% a good thing they were brought in. However private matches are not the whole of the crucible, private matches are fine the way they are, they don't really need any work at the moment. I would rather Bungie's focus being placed on the balance of pvp which consists of too much of one type of weapon / class, the primaries are too weak allowing specials to be used the entire match and dominate pvp too much. That is an extremely frustrating thing for people to deal with, it shouldn't need to be either. The lag and latency being caused by SBMM shouldn't be in the Crucible either, at least not to the lengths it is reaching right now. With buffs and nerfs, you need to look at what is strong and overused, then bring everything up to around it's level, not nerf that strong piece of gear down to the low, slow level that honestly? Doesn't feel fun. You can't buff something that is already strong, you need to bring the gear around it up. For example at the moment, give me a reason why anyone would use anything else on a Warlock other than the new exotic gloves? There is no reason because they are just better than any other exotics on the Warlock, so bring the other exotics up to near it's level and challenge that gear. My thoughts at least

I probably expected too much mainly because of Halo Reach, or any Halo game in general. I was hoping for there to be a super and ability cooldown modifier and respawn time, kind of like how there is in Overwatch's custom game settings. I was also hoping to be able to set preset loadouts so my friends and I can run around with the same weapons. I was also hoping for there to be some ammo modifiers like in Halo. Unlimited ammo, bottomless clip, etc. Maybe even the ability to change how often special and heavy ammo spawns. Also expected to see some damage and/or health modifiers. I am a bit disappointed because I espected too much, but nonetheless, I'm having fun choosing the larger maps with a mayhem gamemode even if there are only 5 of us playing. [spoiler]I did not watch any of the Twitch streams nor any video specifying the settings for the private matches.[/spoiler]

6 Antworten-blam!-en your servers with roi(rise of iron) have really -blam!-ed up my experiance makes me wanna smash everything in sight try to go to temple get(you have left your fire team) its bullshit if your gonna realease something bungie i suggest you better -blam!-en fix it instead of made it realease it like did you not test it or some bull shit like really i could have done better job and im not the only experiancing this ive ask 100 people at random just went to the temple and asked are you having trouble with the servers since roi(rise of iron) and 60 of them said yes thats more then half 6\10 people have trouble with the servers thats alot of people fix this shit man honestly quiting xbox has crossed my mind because of this because destiny is one of the games i play most there is no reason for this shit for the people who have bad internet id recomend a offline option to play single player and dont just go -blam!- us he knows were bullshitting everyone delete because hidding the truth is not cool not cool at all and for those other guys who read this this is my 3 post other 2 went missing wonder how you see this spread the word stand up to bungie make this a known problem when its known they have to fix cant put off to the side and go year 4 is here lets fix year 3 and -blam!- with year 4 it may just be the end of you bungie fix this or you msy lose destiny forever

Seriously how unnaceptable is in a Supremacy match you kill and enemy and the crest don't fall from it? because it happened to me 5 times in one of the supremacy rumble I've played last week! We had a bad cenario before, with a lot of problems, lag and latency was always an issue, so as ghost bullets and register problems, but after the new DLC + hotfixs those problems increased at the point of seriously compromises PvP fun factor. Bungie wants to be on MLG, wants to make Destiny competitive but sorry... you will not acheive that by simply throwing on the gamers a private matchmaking, forgeting about the terrible situation our open PvP matches are.

A random option would be cool where it will automatically pick everything for us, similar to Crucible settings and gametypes
