Dissapointed that there are no Siva events?
It's the week before ROI.
Was expecting some new ROI events, especially after Bungie's comments previously.
Come on, give us some advance fun to mess with?

1 AntwortenSeriously !!... They have shown way to much already imo...I want to go in to it fresh and with the excitement of a young kid at Christmas. Giving us higher level drops and a exotic (by mistake I think) and now private matches early is way more than they could of done. I appreciate the releases but I just want ROI to get here now so I can get stuck in to it.

1 AntwortenYeah they did it for Dark Below and House of Wolves. Do not remember anything for TTK though but just seemed like Bungie didn't plan enough content in general for TTK. Think we were spoiled with the amount of activities and content in year one, then Bungie took a nap and decided to go minimal.

2 AntwortenThey can't release everything before RoI. People would get burned out in the first two hours of the only thing we had to do was play the story missions. Honestly I'm glad they're keeping events and stuff out of this recent update, I'd probably play it too much and lose my hype for next week.

In TTK the pre Taken didn't show up till the Thursday before Taken King dropped. Be patient.

I think the "event" was the launch of private matches, I new something was going to happen and it did, but not what we thought it was going to be but it was a nice surprise anyway (for me that is)

Played private matches all day yesterday. Had a blast. Not upset they didn't implement SIVA events into patrol.

1 AntwortenDUDE ITS THERE !! it's a minor event but it's something. you have to go in to patrol on the cosmodrome, *but you need the new exotic equipped* hop on your sparrow and ride all the way out to Forgotten Shore, whatever enemies spawn , wipe them all out with your exotic trespasser. no other kills will do. ride out to the boat overlooking the shore (where that chest used to be on the pillar back in Year 1) hop across the pillars until you get to the farthest one you can reach. with trespasser equipped, within 5 minutes you should start seeing the water turn an infectious red. this will rise calmly into the shore front and when it finally reaches , a few devil splicers will spawn on the hill by the sign. there you can kill them ! hope this helped! 1 AntwortenThe wolves didn't start roaming for HoW until the thursday before DLC launch. Also I doubt we will see an SIVA events. Doesn't really fit the theme of what they are. Not to mention the old cosmodrome (the one we currently have) is completely seperate from the new one and by extension the plaguelands. So it's not physically possible anyway. I'd say leaking an exotic and dropping private matches early is plenty.

We found that secret room in clovis bray with the siva cluster. We walk right over that during this weeks NF. Anyone try getting in there legit? Wonder if theres a Black Spindle like way in there.

I've been waiting for private matches since the game has released, I'll take them a week early over killing some siva for a few minutes

4 AntwortenIt does make sense though to be fair. if we just saw the in patrol or some event like the pack of wolves then it would lose the appeal of seeing them for the first time in a story mission. When the taken king first launched the first time we fought the taken was during the first mission (unless the first thing you did when the taken king launched was go onto patrol, but why would you do that).
